This was a family trip with members total, so a 3-bedroom 2 full bath apartment was imperative to have. The apartment check-in process was a snap. We entered the code, secured door opens, and we were in.The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The living space was adequate and comfortable. The kitchen was nice and had what we needed. The building itself was very quiet, and we may have seen 1 or 2 residents during our stay. However, when we arrived, there was only one functioning shower. That evening, Sunday, it was brought to the attention of both the owner and the property manager. I never heard back from the property manager, but the owner was quick to respond. The shower was repaired on Tuesday, and we were leaving on Wednesday. My main issue, and this might be just a me thing, is that the shower had been previously damaged, the water did not turn on because of a damaged handle, and it was left in this condition. The kitchen faucet had a similar issue, but the handle would fall off. This too was repaired on Tuesday. The neighborhood itself is very loud and there is an abundance of homelessness. We like to walk, but we were a bit uncomfortable because of the area. Owner can't do anything about that, but it would have been good to know this before booking. This will be noted in the check-in info, but not until a few days before check-in. Had we known this, we would have selected a different location. The apartment alone, was fine and well kept.
