Wonderful 2-bed cottage in the popular and ever pleasant Old Town area for 4
This lovely Victorian terrace is set in the heart of Old Town Eastbourne. Old Town is a charming district in this beautiful coastal town that has many quaint restaurants, shops and cafes. It is also home to many parks and gardens, a great place for a peaceful stroll.
Eastbourne town centre, Eastbourne beaches and many other great attractions including the Devonshire Park Theatre are all around a 15-20 minute walk from the property. For those that love the outdoors, I promise you that days spent strolling along Eastbourne promenade do not disappoint.
Inside the property you will be welcomed by an immaculately refurbished home. Every room has been renovated with new fittings and furnishings and make this 2-bedroom cottage a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay.
The open plan living/dining gifts everyone the freedom of their own space within a connected environment - The kids can entertain themselves with Netflix and other apps using the smart TV, whilst parents enjoy a cup coffee and a newspaper at the large dining table which seats up to six.
The kitchen has all new units and comes fully equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave and all cooking utensils.
From the kitchen you can access the rear garden through french doors, the garden can also be accessed by a locked pathway where cyclists may wish to keep their bikes.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a mounted smart TV on the wall. The second bedroom is made up of two single beds, both bedrooms also come with dressing tables.
The large bathroom comes with a large walk-in shower as well as a separate bath.
All linen for this property is supplied and for guests staying two weeks or longer, a second set will be provided. Regular towels are provided (please bring your own beach / swimming towels). There is also free WiFi throughout.
This Exclusively Eastbourne property has a week long minimum in peak season, but short breaks may be possible last minute or out of season.

A wonderful place to stay
The house was very clean, everything was exactly as described in the advert. The surroundings are really beautiful, everything, like the city centre, the beach, the park and shops, is within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic property just right for us. Good location easy to get to Eastbourne s’ centre for theatres, shopping or onward travel via trains. Restaurants in the Old Town are very good, plus Waitrose on your doorstep

Excellent stay in Eastbourne Old Town
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 3 Bay Pond Road in Eastbourne Old Town. We were there for the week of the tennis championships. The property was ideal. An easy twenty-five minutes walk to Devonshire Park and a few minutes from bus routes into the centre of Eastbourne.
The property was clean, bright, spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with separate bath and large shower cubicle. We were able to park right outside the front of the house. We enjoyed relaxing with a drink on the paved patio at the rear of the house which was peaceful and is overlooked by the 12th century St Mary's Church.
We had good meals at the two nearby restaurants: The Spiced Garden and The Lamb Inn, both only minutes walk away from the property.
In conclusion we had a thoroughly good stay and would recommend it.

A very smart house
The property was excellent and has been tastefully renovated. It was conveniently located with Waitrose and a lovely park within a short walk. It was well equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. I think there were some misunderstandings with the booking process as I had to book by telephone due to the website not responding and I found it difficult to find the confirmation e-mail. We had to wait a while to be let in as I did not realise we had to phone both 45 minutes in advance and again when we arrived as we said our arrival time and were told someone would meet us there. However, all the staff I spoke to were helpful and patient and I have no complaints about the property and hope we will be able to stay there again when visiting our family in Eastbourne.

Great to hear you loved St Mary's Cottage in Old Town Eastbourne - the owner use to live there as a boy and has put his heart into renovating the place and has made it a delightful, modern and yet characterful home.
I'm sorry you had problems booking on HomeAway - we have no control over their processes.
Once a guest has booked we immediately provide a welcome letter with lots more information on the property, including the arrival process.
We always advise that we will meet our guests at the property to ensure that they are completely comfortable and relaxed with the house and know how to make the most of their stay.
We also ask and advise that we have a 45 minute warning prior to arrival and we then leave the office to meet guests (given that travel plans can often change en route).
We always try to offer the finest properties in Eastbourne backed by the finest service so I hope we can look after you again.

Gemütliches Reihenhaus in idealer Lage
Ein schönes kleines Häuschen, das einen angenehmen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt unkompliziert und einfach zu gestalten. Wenn es etwas zu bemängeln gäbe, dann, dass das Doppelbett etwas ungemütlich ist.

3 Week Stay in Eastbourne
Immaculately clean and well maintained, this was a lovely house in a nice part of Old Town Eastbourne. Convenient location, 15 minute walk into town, we were very happy staying for 3 weeks.

So pleased you loved the cottage and it's fab location.
Here at Exclusively Eastbourne, we're here locally for you 24/7 and would have immediately contacted the WiFi provider - there is never any need to be unsatisfied with your accommodation in any respect.
The WiFi provider is brand new (and supposedly fibre) and was installed specifically for a fast speed so we'll get onto that right away.

wirklich wundervoll
Ein sehr schönes, modern eingerichtetes Haus, es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, man merkt, dass sich jemand viele Gedanken gemacht hat. Es fängt an mit einem Willkommenskorb mit Kaffee und Kakao, gefolgt von einem Kamin, ein schönes Wohn- und Esszimmer, das Badezimmer ist klasse - eine tolle Dusche, wer mag, kann auch baden: wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt,
Die Küche hat auch alles, was benötigt wird. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Ausreichend Stauraum für die Kleidung ist vorhanden.
Ganz in der Nähe ist ein Pub, Restaurants, unweit gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet.
Mit dem Zug ist man in ca. 1,5 Stunden in London. Das Auto stellt man einfach am Bahnhof ab.
Der Pier ist auch wunderschön und lädt zum Schlendern ein.
Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und kommen gerne wieder!
