Silverdale Mews-Gorgeous 2 Bedroom Seaside Cottage

Silverdale Mews is a delightful cottage perfectly located to enjoy a holiday or business trip to Eastbourne.

The house is a home from home and has a modern yet cosy feel. The two bedrooms sleep 4 and can be configured either as a double and king size beds or as a double and 2 singles. The comfortable lounge is upstairs and opens onto a balcony and the well equipped kitchen diner features comfy seating and french doors which can be opened onto the courtyard. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and there is a separate toilet downstairs. The Wifi is superfast broadband and is free. Smart TVs in both the lounge and the kitchen provide satellite channels and access to all your favourite apps. Downstairs, the kitchen has everything you’ll need on a self-catering break including dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine and there is a utility area with a washer-dryer and laundry facilities. The car port provides private parking for one car and has a secure bike rack to lock cycles to. Linen and towels are provided with changes available for longer stays.

You will be just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and it's a short stroll to both Eastbourne town centre and Meads village.

Families with small children will love the Victorian pier, Drusilla’s Zoo, Knockhatch Adventure Park and Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway. Culture is close by at the Towner Art Gallery and the Congress and Devonshire Park theatres, all are just a few minutes’ walk away as is the Devonshire Park Tennis Centre. Sailing, windsurfing and paddle boards can all be hired and instruction arranged at Buzz Active along the seafront and electric bikes can be hired from Cadence Cycles just around the corner.

Lovely, couldn’t ask for more from 2 Sliverdale Mews. Owner Emma was brilliant & very helpfull

Sliverdale mews was in a great location, quiet but close to all local amenities. So easy to walk into Eastbourne town, which had a lovely pier , bandstand which we visited on Sunday 6th July for Big band concert. So much to do in this seaside town alone. Great base for exploring further a field. On a last note Silverdale mews has all you would require, bed was very comfy, well equipped kitchen & a great living room with french doors / balcony as much when the weather is good.

schönes und ruhiges Objekt

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und auch sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Weg zum Meer war kurz, zu den Restaurants musste man etwas weiter gehen. Ein Supermarkt ist auch nicht in der Nähe. Ohne Auto ist es etwas schwieriger.

A beautiful mews house in a quiet location but just minutes from the sea

Emma's house is so welcoming and comfortable, and has everything you need. It's in a perfect location, very close to the sea, good public transport, some lovely local shops and cafes. It's tucked away in a little mews development and is super quiet. This was our third stay at Silverdale Mews and we certainly hope it won't be our last. Thank you Emma.

Fantastic place to stay!

2 Silverdale Mews is in a great location to explore Eastbourne and the surrounding area. It is within walking distance of the beach, pier, restaurants and shops. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped with everything that you would want for a stay. The host , Emma, was very helpful and made our stay a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this lovely property and I would most certainly stay here again.

Fabulous as always

A warm, comfortable house, with easy access to town and seafront.

This was our second visit and everything was just as good as on our previous stay. This time we visited without our car, as we'd previously discovered we could use buses to get us to the start of walks and that made life very easy. Also, the town centre and seafront are both just a short walk away. The house is warm, well equipped and comfortable. Communication with Emma was excellent.

Absolutely top class accommodation

The house is equipt with everything you should need to have a great holiday, even down to plates, cutlery etc for the children. Towels and bedding is very good quality . All mod cons in the kitchen including full oven and hob. Dishwasher, washing machine and combined tumble drier. This is our second visit and we have another one booked already for later in the year. Quiet, calm, welcoming house to stay!

Everything was great, from first impressions to the size of the mews and the comfort factor - the beds and sofas were really cosy. The location is perfect for a walk on the seafront or even into town and it's so quiet and peaceful at night away from traffic. A really relaxing place to stay, thanks for everything Emma.

Silverdale Mews is a beautiful home, in an excellent location, just 5minutes walk from the sea front, in a great part of town. It is comfortable, very tastefully decorated and has absolutely everything you could need. This is our second time staying there and we really hope to be back again. Emma is a wonderful host, and has really thought of everything. The beds are comfortable, the living spaces are great and whilst very central, the house is also extremely quiet at night. A wonderful holiday in a lovely cottage with the feeling of being home from home

We have just returned from our second holiday in Silverdale and hope to return again next year. This lovely comfortable and well presented cottage is in a wonderful holiday location close to the sea front and a short walk from shops and amenities. Lovely Short stay in Eastbourne.

Quiet small two bedroom accomodation located in a close of 5 other similar properties. located just under a mile from the town centre, and about 300/400 yards from the nearest beach and local shops. Everything you'll need is located within the property. Great communication from Emma, who also left a nice welcome pack for my arrival. Parking in a car port for most cars and cycle racks at back of car port. Small balcony (see photos on site) but no garden. Might get rather warm in height of summer.

Hi, I'm Emma. I set up Silverdale Mews as a holiday home 3 years ago and since then it has been operated successfully by some lovely agents. I'm now managing it myself and hope to provide a full and personal service to all guests.

I live in Eastbourne with my young family so am on hand and available to help with any aspects of your visit in advance or during your stay. My hope is to provide you with a home from home and that you will have the perfect base for your break away whether it be for business or pleasure.
