4 Bed Idyllic Fayence Retreat Private Pool Great Views

A beautiful Provencal villa in the French countryside with direct views up to the perched village of Fayence. It is just 20 minutes to the A8 motorway and 40 minutes to La Croisette in Cannes. The property has ample parking for 5 cars or more.

Sleeping up to 8 people in 4 full bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en suite with shower and 1 with bath), the lounge and dining area open out to the terrace and large open garden with a private heated pool equipped with a number of pool toys and child-friendly floatation aids. The pool area also has a secure child-friendly fence installed right around the perimeter pool. Facilities include washer/dryer machine, cable TV, internet (wifi available throughout property and all of garden/pool area), easy to use gas BBQ and ironing board. There are also 2 hammocks, a petanque set (which can be played on the lawn or on the large gravelled parking area) and other outdoor games. *PLEASE NOTE - given recent years of increasingly dry conditions, droughts and watering bans we can no longer guarantee the greenness of the open lawn area. On particularly dry years the result has been a browner and drier lawn than in the attached photos*

The villa is family friendly with cots, high chairs and use of a pushchair provided and is ideally situated with less than a five minute walk to both the best rated hotel and the best rated restaurant in the Fayence area on TripAdvisor. 2 other Michelin starred restaurants are also very close by. A 5 minute drive will take you to a horse riding centre and the Fayence aerodrome, the largest of its sort in Europe, where you can try your hand at gliding and other flying adventures. Just 10 minutes away you'll find Lake St Cassien which provides a huge array of water sports and leisure activities in the summer like kayaking, pedaloes and water slides. Golfers can enjoy a relaxing round with a backdrop of stunning scenery at the nearby high end resort of Terre-Blanche, which was formerly the Four Seasons of Provence.

Beautiful cozy house for 2 Families with a helpful host

If you are looking for a cozy place to stay with your family this is the right choice. The house offers enough space for 2 families (8PAX) and offers a lot of toys for babies, kids and parents. We could highly recommend it.

Great house, good location - but garden needs some TLC!

The house is quietly located approx. 20mins walk/5mins drive from the charming centre of Fayence (the nearest Boulangerie is 8mins walk - perfect in the mornings!). Check-in/out was simple and the local house manager came to make sure we were settled on the first evening. We were 2 families staying for 1 week with kids aged 5 to 10 and the ample space both inside and out meant we never felt on top of each other. Inside, the house is pretty much as described and pictured in the listing. You have everything you need here for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The weather was extremely warm when we stayed and the air conditioning in all of the bedrooms was excellent! The outside area didn't quite live up to our expectations... The pool was ok - not the biggest/nicest we have experienced, but good enough. There must have been a wasp nest near to the pool when we stayed, but this was more of an irritation than a problem! The main disappointment was the lawned areas (of which there are many with this property!). There was very little of the lush, green grass shown in the pictures and instead a lot of rough weeds - not at all pleasant to walk on bare-footed. This was especially bad on the main lawn between the house and pool. I can only assume there was a problem with the irrigation at some point and the grass simply died... hopefully this will be fixed soon, since we felt it let down the otherwise lovely property.

Tolles Haus mit besonderem Charme

Wir waren eine Woche mit der Familie in Yumis schönem Haus. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Garten befindet sich ein großer Pool, der umzäunt war, was für uns mit kleinen Kindern sehr praktisch war. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für den Garten. Er ist trotz Bewässerung leider vollkommen vertrocknet, was sich bei diesen Temperaturen vermutlich nicht ändern lässt. Allerdings wäre es wünschenswert wenn die Terrasse etwas größer wäre und es einen Weg zu Pool gäbe. Da kein Weg vorhanden ist nimmt man bei jedem Gang vom Pool, den Schmutz von der trockenen Wiese mit ins Haus. Ansonsten haben wir die Zeit in diesem Haus sehr genossen und Emilie hat sich vor Ort toll um uns gekümmert! Vielen Dank

Un séjour en famille réussi

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette propriété ! La maison est très belle, décorée avec goût et parfaitement équipée ! Tout y est de la glacière et parasol pour les sorties à la plage, au diffuseur pour le sèche cheveux, raquettes de tennis et et jouets et gilets de bain pour enfants Petraa qui gère la location est disponible et très réactive. Yumi, la propriétaire est également accessible et répond à toutes nos interrogations. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Merci encore !

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La propriété est grande (des parties ensoleillées et des parties ombragées), la piscine est protégée par des barrières amovibles donc les enfants en bas âge sont en sécurité. La maison est décorée avec goût et on s'y est tout de suite senti comme chez nous ! La literie est de qualité. Nous étions 2 familles de 2 enfants et c'etait vraiment idéal.

Excellent séjour

Cette villa est parfaite pour 8 personnes avec ses 3 salles de bain. On peut déjeuner dehors abrités du soleil avec la belle vue sur le jardin et la piscine. Situé très près d’un centre commercial, vous pourrez visiter les environs (avec un lac magnifique tout à côté). Nous recommandons !

Well-equipped and tastefully furnished house ideal for a family holiday. Secure swimming pool with a shallow area for young children. Lots of games and pool material… plus old trees to relax under in the garden. The house lived up to our expectations and we are happy to recommend it. Maison joliment décorée et bien équipée - idéale pour des vacances en famille. La piscine est sécurisée avec une partie « plage » pour de jeunes enfants. Beaucoup de jouets de piscine et de jeux de société … et de magnifiques arbres sous lesquels se reposer. La maison correspondait à nos attentes et nous pouvons la recommander sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé une semaine avec nos amis dans cette maison à Fayence à 3 couples et enfants. La maison est vraiment sympa, il y a une petite plage peu profonde en bordure de piscine, ce qui a permis aux enfants de jouer en toute tranquillité. Question pratique, tout est proche de la maison, restaurants, bar tabac, supermarché, etc. Les propriétaires ont été très réactifs à chacune de nos observations. Donc si vous avez envie de passer une semaine en toute tranquillité avec votre famille ou vos amis, ne cherchez pas plus loin, c'est ici. Nous pensons revenir passer une semaine.

We are an English couple with 2 young children. We have spent an extensive time in the villa before deciding to rent it out. We have good knowledge of the local area and plenty of recommendations of things to do for families. We are more than happy to provide extensive suggestions of places we have visited from great play areas for kids to really special evening places for adults.

Why they chose this property

The villa's location near the coast but inland enough to retain a thoroughly rural and private experience is (unfortunately) becoming rather unique along the Cote d'Azur. There are few places like ours where you can have the experience of 10s of acres of agricultural land right outside your front gate (the roses for the Dior perfume of J'Adore are grown on the other side of the road), wonderful bucolic walks and great cycling routes starting from your doorstep, and all the resorts from Monaco to St Tropez across the Cote d'Azur easily accessible as day trips by car.
