Discover our welcoming two-bedroom coastal chalet, thoughtfully designed with contemporary touches and nestled in a tranquil cul-de-sac near Mumbles Cricket Club. Step outside and you're moments from stunning clifftop walks and beautiful beaches.

This self-contained single-storey chalet offers everything you need for a memorable stay. Relax in your own living room, prepare your meals in the well-equipped kitchen and unwind in comfortable bedrooms after days of exploring the beautiful Gower. You’ll have your own parking (fits two medium cars) and private garden with secure shed storage if you’re bringing bikes or water sports equipment.

Sleep soundly in our two comfortable bedrooms:
• Master bedroom: cosy small double (4ft) with bedside tables and mirror.
• Second bedroom: versatile triple sleeper (small double below, single above) with direct back garden access. Please note that this is ideal for up to two adults or up to three young children.

Step outside to your private outdoor spaces:
• Peaceful back garden with decking and gravel.
• Front lawn with close access to car parking.

Adventure starts at your doorstep: Within minutes on foot, you'll reach dramatic clifftop viewpoints and the renowned Wales Coast Path. Limeslade Bay and Bracelet Bay are under a five minute drive while the picturesque village of Mumbles offers boutique shopping, excellent dining and famous ice cream parlours.

Venture further to discover Langland Bay's surfing scene and Caswell Bay's family-friendly shores, complete with cosy cafes serving homemade treats. The seasonal land train connects you to Blackpill Lido on the route to Swansea.

Everything's included for a hassle-free stay: Fresh linens, fluffy towels, cleaning essentials plus books, games, WiFi and smart TV for quieter moments.

Great place to stay in the Mumbles

Great find, clean, stylish, well equipped, quiet, WiFi & parking. We were a party of 3 adults and a toddler and there was plenty of space in the chalet. Would definitely recommend a stay here as central to getting to the Gower, Swansea and great beaches.

Blissful weekend away

This was the perfect retreat for our family. Easy walking distance to an array of beaches, restaurants and other facilities. Clean, no frills, but absolutely meeting our needs. We loved our time here, and would not hesitate to rebook.

The Oceanside view was epic. The accommodations were great and we had no issue’s whatsoever. Mumbles, we enjoyed the entire ocean front cafes and piers. Just a majestic place to visit.

Amazing location and brilliant host

This cottage is in such an amazing location. A minute to the coast path and within easy reach of the amenities in the mumbles and then the very beautiful gower and all it has to offer. The host is very helpful and really friendly.

We had a wonderful rest. The house is located in a very convenient place. Everything can be reached on foot.With magnificent views of the sea. Not far to the beaches and for those who like to relax in the evening in restaurants and bars, also close.The only thing we didn't like about the house was the dirty carpets and the heavy unpleasant smell.

Property in a great location. Quite a hilly journey to beach and coast on foot but easily accessed. Clean, comfortable and everything you need for a short holiday. We used as a base to play links golf across south wales.

Long weekend on the Gower Peninsula

Exactly what we needed to explore the area. Comfy beds, Wi-Fi, TV, a well equipped kitchen, a parking space and a private deck at the back. All within two minutes of the cliff tops and sight and sound of the sea.

Perfect holiday home..

Thoroughly enjoyable short break at Ruth’s lovely holiday cottage. Beautifully decorated, the accommodation had everything you need and much more besides. Location is just perfect for walking and touring the stunning Gower Peninsula. Ruth was most helpful throughout the whole booking process. Will definitely make a return visit.

Lovely little cottage in a stunning location

Great property with everything you need for a short stay. Easy to get to and in the heart of some of the most epic coastline anywhere. Easy access to cliffside paths and walking distance from a choice of great beaches. Also handy for Mumbles for shops, pubs and (of course) Joe's Ice Cream.

Good value for money

There were 4 of us staying in the property. The kitchen was well equipped. The seating and beds were comfortable. Would have been a little tight if we’d used the table, but it was perfect for our couple of days away.

Great Location

This place is small and perfectly formed! It has everything you need to self cater and the beds were fairly comfortable. The kitchen cupboards were not clean when we arrived - there was even hair in one of them - but that is our only negative. It’s almost on the coastal path which really is amazing and the little cul-de-sac has a lovely feel to it with very friendly neighbours. Communication with Ruth was top notch - thank you, we hope to be back.

Why they chose this property

There's lots of reasons we keep coming back to the Mumbles. I've had lots of amazing breaks here with my friends then having kids it just seemed to keep drawing us back.

It's changed a lot since those fun days of the Mumbles mile but definitely for the better. There's numerous branded and independent places to eat and drink, I adore running across the promenade towards Swansea and everyone is just so friendly. And did I mention Joe's ice cream! With so much cycling, walking, running and roller skating across the promenade I just want to be outdoors and soak it all up. I always feel like a different me when I'm there.

We chose this property as our base because it's just that - a base. We want to get out, explore, do things. So we're small but in a quiet area which is on top of a cliff where the top coastal path is. The kids love playing outdoors on the quiet cul de sac (alternating between stroking every dog which comes past and scooting as fast as they can down the road).

What's great is that we can easily walk to a beach or wander into town so we get the best of both worlds.
