Beautiful South Finger Villa

Latitude 17, a beautifully newly renovated villa on the waters edge located on the highly sought after South finger of Jolly Harbour.

As owners of Latitude 17 we wanted to offer our guests the most recently updated villa and provide you with the same high standards of guest services that our property manager has provided over the past number of years.

Latitude 17 is situated on the more favorable South Finger at Jolly Harbour, just a few minutes walk to the beautiful, long white sandy beach where water sports are offered including water skiing, water bicycles and jet skis. Located on the beach is Sandras Beach Bar where you can enjoy a cocktail whilst watching the sunset.

The Villa is laid out over two floors and is fully air conditioned throughout, with ceiling fans in all rooms, Wi-Fi and fly screens. Our villa water is filtered and UV light sanitized. On the ground floor is an open plan, fully equipped kitchen and a large comfortable lounge area with TV. The living area leads to a partially covered patio with table and chairs. Upstairs are two large, airy bedrooms. The marina side bedroom has a KING bed and access to a balcony with outside seating to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. The front side bedroom has a QUEEN bed. Each bedroom has an on-suite bathroom with hand held and rain shower heads.

Jolly Harbour is a gated community with 24 hour security, it offers every amenity, a large well stocked supermarket, numerous bars and restaurants, banks, beauty salon, car hire and golf cart rental. There is also a large Olympic size swimming pool, pickleball, tennis courts and an 18 hole golf course.

Please note: The Antigua Ministry Department of Revenue has imposed a per day per person tourism tax of $5.00 USD. Upon your arrival, our Property Manager will collect this amount from you. It can be paid in USD or EC at the current exchange rate. It is important that our Property Manager accurately reports the number of guest for the reporting of this collection to the Ministry

This was our 8th trip to Jolly Harbor and was by far the best villa we have been in. Jenny is a great host and the owner is very easy to work with. Hope we can stay there again.

Totally refurbished villa to a very high standard with attention to detail to make your stay so relaxing. The beds are undoubtedly the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. The villa is just minutes walk from Jolly Beach and in our opinion the best beach in Antigua - and this is our 8th visit.

Oldie’s February Getaway

The villa was exactly as described beautifully remodeled and decorated very nice. The colors were beautifully coordinated and very soothing. The must have for our oldies vacation was the golf cart for our daily outings to the beach and dinners and of course the epicurean supermarket! The manager of the Villa is the most incredible person from her gracious welcome and the organizer of our golf cart to helping us with a small medical issue, she is a gem and certainly is a wonderful person to have contact with regarding all aspects of villa living!.

Everything you need is here

Beautifully renovated unit with quality finishes. This is our 4th time renting a villa and this is our favorite by far. Jenny was super helpful and timely during our stay. First time we added a golf cart and it certainly helped with grocery runs. Nice to find it waiting at the villa for us, no time wasted. Hope to stay again!

The Jolly Harbor south finger villa was a perfect spot for a quick retreat! The property was clean and well appointed. Spectacular

This was our 5th trip to beautiful Jolly Harbor and definitely the best place we’ve rented so far. The owners answered all of our questions in a timely manner and they have a wonderful manager Jenny who greeted us and was available for anything that we needed during our visit. Everything has been updated and was very comfortable. It’s super close to the beach, everything is walkable but I would suggest renting a golf cart, it makes it that much better. We find it easier than renting a car. They also provided bikes to use. We had wonderful meals at the restaurants near by. We went to Al Porto, Miracles, Sea Dreams(music nights are the best), Curry House, Basilico’s, & Petals(great Roti). The juice truck was also great for fresh smoothies and croissants. When visiting the beach if you use the chairs at the Pop Up Bar(gray loungers with white umbrellas) they are free as long as you order drinks or food during the day. I would definitely stay here again, they did a fantastic job on the remodel.

Relaxing and Serene

Bill’s property in Jolly Harbor is a gem. The place was immaculately cleaned and modern. The property has everything you need to cook and do everyday things. The access to the dock is so serene; great for watching the sunset or sunrise and having meals outside. Bill’s place is surprisingly a lot more beautiful in person than online as another reviewer mentioned. I would definitely come back and stay here again. Additionally communication with Bill and Jenny was seamless. Thanks again!

Amazing Stay & Very Convenient Location @ Latitude 17!

This Villa is better than its pictures! Everything was immaculate. Loved the spacious open concept kitchen/dining/living area & powder room on the Main Level with the 2 bedrooms & their own private full bathrooms on the Upper Level. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The grocery store was a short 6-7 minute walk. (Reusable grocery bags are provided by host.) Both beds & sofa were extremely comfortable! Plenty of beach towels & chair clips provided along with bath towels. The back deck w/double sliders is awesome! Enjoyed spending evenings sitting outside, looking at the stars in the night sky. No need to use A/C w/ceiling fans on both levels and the nice breeze coming in from off the water with the open sliders! Jolly Beach is a 2 minute walk from the front door. Our boat excursion left out of Jolly Harbor with the pickup/dropoff spot on the dock next to the community pool…4-5 minute walk from Latitude 17! Overall, great stay & incredibly convenient location as no need for a car our whole trip! We felt very safe staying at Jolly Harbor. Jenny, Latitude 17’s property manager, quickly responded to our questions when we first arrived and arranged for our best taxi ride to the airport!! From making the reservation on Vrbo to following up once we returned home, Bill (the host/owner) could not have been more helpful and responsive. You will not regret selecting Latitude 17 for your next Vrbo stay in Antigua!!! Looking forward to returning in the near future!

Life's a beach at Latitude 17

Lat 17 is a beautiful, freshly renovated property with 2 big bedrooms w ensuites, and 1 downstairs WR. DW and fresh water/ice dispenser in fridge were a lovely bonus. Big airy rooms, lots of light. Furnished in the minimalist style. Beds were very comfortable. It faces east so the morning sun is very strong until it goes over the yardarm at 12:20 when you can go outside on the new deck. The unit is easy walking distance to the beach ( just minutes). There are 2 bicycles if you are the biking type. The Jolly Harbour complex is quite large with a pharmacy, shops, several good restaurants, and a full grocery store. Order a golf cart well in advance for easy touring about the property and to the grocery store. Jolly Harbour is a great holiday location. Lat 17 is a clean, well-managed unit with a nice view of the "Indian".

Easy to relax!

Newly renovated Latitude 17 makes it easy to relax. Clean and comfortable. Jolly Harbour has all the amenities close by...beach, beach bars, restaurants, groceries, car rental, water activities, pool, tennis, squash or you can do absolutely nothing at all.

Excellent time

Spent over a week at this property and we had a great time. Short walk to beach, bars, restaurants and food shop. Not too far to north beach either. On a more adventurous walk we made it to dark wood beach and ffryes beach as well. No issues with getting taxis to other destinations either. Even tried out the local tennis courts and coach as well. Never made it to the newly opened swimming pool but it was always busy when we walked past. Strongly recommend this place

A true gem!!

We had an amazing stay at Latitude 17 in dec 2019. The unit is freshly renovated and it truly felt like home. It was just steps away from the beach (south beach) making it very convenient for us. We traveled with our 5 month old.

Excellent stay

The property is newly renovated and absolutely gorgeous. Jolly Harbour is a super vacation area with a grocery and restaurants close by. The beach a few minute walk and wonderful. Jenny the property manager is a gem and there for any help you need.

A wonderful newly renovated, modern villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was spotless, great location to the a paradise beach. Jenny was very efficient and was there for anything we needed. Can’t wait for our next visit to lovely villa 229F

Venice of Antigua

Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend / great value for the price. The place needs some renovation but location could not be better, walk to store, restaurants and truly only 3 min to great beach (go far right and stay under trees). We loved sitting on the porch and conversing with great neighbors and watching the yachts go in and out. Folks you can not do better for the money. Brian thanks and also thanks to Jenny who is a gem.

We have enjoyed traveling to many different destinations around the world. Through our travels we have seen many different lifestyles and cultures that we enjoy, but at the end of the day we enjoy the relaxation that comes from the Caribbean. We have spent some time around the islands and really enjoy Antigua and its culture, its beautiful beaches and wonderful local cuisine. And who can't forget about Carnival and all of the regattas.

We live in the US where our children were raised and are currently in pursuit of higher education. We continue to enjoy traveling to many destinations around the world but enjoy the beautiful island of Antigua.

Latitude 17 is positioned in one of the best locations of the Jolly Harbour complex, firstly South Finger is far better than the North Finger for location, all amenities and supermarket, secondly the villa is a very short walk to the beach which can only be described as truly amazing.

THIS BEACH IN OUR OPINION IS ONE OF THE BEST BEACHES IN THE WORLD ( AND WE HAVE TRAVELLED!!)
