A very spacious Villa with all the facilities needed for a great family holiday. We were 9 in total, 6 adults and 3 children. Internal accommodation was clean and tidy with lots of kitchen equipment, TVs , DVD players, , pool table , table tennis table and a few items of gym equipment. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage. Externally the pool was kept clean and attended to twice weekly. Gardens were not maintained whilst we were there and the lawn needed mowing, but the grassed area was large and great for children playing. Plenty of Sun loungers but only one parasol . It would have been more presentable had the sun loungers not been scattered around the pool area and placed orderly with their beach towels on our arrival. Outside BBQ area was a useful addition with table and chairs to seat 10. It would have been thoughtful for the BBQ to be cleaned and the floor cleaned in this area before our arrival. During our stay we had to report a few defects such as door handles falling off, wc pans not fixed to floor,, light switches not working, outside lighting not working and a broken microwave oven. All defects were dealt with promptly by Seashell Management or by Raul one of the neighbours .
Overall a great Villa and a great holiday base being quite close to the Marina (15 minutes walk). First impressions are very important and if the outside area had been presented more orderly and cleaner I would have given the accommodation 10/10. It would be useful if the property provided an outside shower near the pool and easier access to the ground floor WC, which needed a trip from the pool through the lounge to this facility. . Supermarkets are a few minutes drive away €5 taxi ride and a trip to Vilamoura Marina is a similar price I would recommend using Uber for local transport as its slightly cheaper and you can book trips through the app. Overall 8.5/10 is a fair score.
