The apartment is lovely inside

The apartment is lovely inside. The outside bldg looks a bit sketchy but don't be fooled, it's great inside. The pics made me think this was on the beach which it is not. But you can access beach easily. Right by train station which is convenient to go into EstorilCascais. Get off at the Sao Joa do Estoril station. I would definitely stay again.

This was our families first time in Portugal and we could not have picked a better place to stay! We were only a 5 minute walk from both the train station and the local grocery store which made the location very convenient. The property manager Katia was more helpful than we could have ever imagined. She met us at the apartment to give us the keys and surprised us with some supplies to get us started on our vacation since we arrived late in the evening after the stored were closed. She definitely went above and beyond our expectations. The apartment definitely met all the needs for our week long vacation complete with a kitchen stocked with all the appliances. The largest plus was the location, which was close to the beach and transportation make our daily excursions very manageable. We will definitely stay here again!

Well located, well equipped but dusty

It's a great little apartment a five-minute walk from Sao Joao do Estoril train station with lots of light, one side faces east and the other one west with large windows. Everything worked and the beds were comfy. José, the property manager, was super helpful and gracious. The problem we had was with the cleanliness, esp. in the living area (dining room and living room). It looked like nobody had been in the unit for a long time, and there was dust everywhere (table, chairs and sofa). The two sofas are well past their heyday, they are stained and (honestly) pretty off-putting. I'm allergic to cats and to dust mites, and I went through two boxes of tissue while I was in here. We found cat hair on the coffee table and there were signs of a cat clawing the couches. There were three of us and we all sneezed much more than what we are used to, so this is a clear sign that the unit is in need of a good, deep scrubbing. Other than that, the place is really well equipped and nicely decorated, even cozy. Shame about those sofas and the dust.

Lovely classic style apartment

Clean lovely apartment with all amenities. Dryer did not work, and elevator trapped our guests the night they came in. We could have used a few more towels, but overall good.

This was a great location

Location was awesome, close to beach and other towns. It was nice and quiet and safe. Host was very helpful. Checkin and check out was simple. Some of the things around the house could be newer but overall good experience.

Lovely apartment in handy location

Don't be put off by the unprepossing exterior of the building: the apartment is lovely. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. A real home from home. Very well located for local trains and the supermarket. Beach an easy 10 mins walk away. Host José was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Checkin - obwohl wir wegen eines Flugausfalls erst mehrere Stunden später ankamen als vereinbart. Die Wohnung liegt zentral und die Strandpromenade mit ihren vielen Restaurants und leckeren Fischgerichten, ereicht man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Ebenso den Bahnhof mit der direkten Zugverbindung nach Lissabon. Sehr schön ist auch der Blick aus dem Fenster, insbesondere bei Sonnenaufgang oder Sonnenuntergang.

Un séjour très agréable dans cet appartement de Sao Joao do Estoril !

La conformité de l'offre à l'existant, pas de surprises négatives ni à l'arrivée, ni durant le séjour. La localisation est parfaite pour l'accès rapide aux plages à moins de 10 mn à pied et à Lisbonne par le train accessible en 30 mn. Vraiment très satisfaits. Nous relouerons sans soucis. Les casseroles et poêles, un peu vieilles, sont trop petites pour 4 personnes. La machine à laver est plus petite en contenu que le sèche-linge, ce qui en la changeant pour une 7 kg aussi constituerait une économie d'énergie (eau et électricité). L'absence de lave vaisselle n'est pas problématique en soi, mais pourrait constituer également un plus, si réalisable.

Elevators left much to be desired - only one actually made it to 5th floor, and the other was not al

The apartment is very well appointed, had everything we needed and wanted. Neighbors were friendly. Cleanliness. We were very surprised to find a strong smell of cigarettes pervading the apartment. Even after days of using products we bought, we were still bothered by the smell. In other circumstances, we would have declined to stay there.

Great Location for getting into Lisbon and Sintra

The outside of the property was very dowdy - but don't let that put you off the apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. Great access for the train into Lisbon (the train noise in the apartment was acceptable) and to Cascais which was a lovely area with good restaurants.
