Stay in Cascais

We thoroughly enjoyed our eight night stay in this comfortable cottage. Teresa and Miguel made us feel very welcome and it was great to have the pool in the high temperatures during our visit.

Everything you need

The home was exactly as photographed and described. Very comfy and well equipped. Bathroom a bit tired but totally functional. Lovely garden and pool. Friendly owners. Good access to public transport. Would definitely recommend.

Cute cottage with excellent host

This little cottage is so cute and comfortable, that we easy can rent it for entire summer. It is very clean, cozy, welcoming. The host are very warm and friendly. I can highly recommend it

Five days in Cascais

We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay in this charming cottage. Very clean with every requirement catered for by friendly hosts. The groceries provided on arrival were most welcome.

Fantastic apartment in amazing area of Portugal

Teresa and Miguel were so welcoming, as is their apartment, so homely with everything you need. The welcome food and drink they provided was incredible, and saved us going out after a days travelling, although the town us only a 20 minute walk and is a beautiful place with many bars and restaurants We had a lovely relaxing break

Teresa and Miguel were great hosts and allowed us early entry to the cottage which was much appreciated. They also supplied a generous welcome pack. The cottage is very well equipped although internally it is very dated. Quite a lot of traffic noise is noticeable whilst sitting in the garden. The cottage looks over the pool onto the back of the owners house. We were provided full private access to both pool and garden. 2 supermarkets within 10 minutes walk. Walkable to bus and train stations. We enjoyed our stay in Cascais and would recommend this rental.

Comfortable and cool

From booking to checking out nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is very comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras . It is very private and the pool very welcome after a day touring the sights . Cascais is an amazing place clean beaches lovely walks and bike rides and so much choice when it comes to eating out. Highly recommend this lovely little cottage.

Highly recommend

Teresa and Miguel made us so welcome and we really appreciated the food in the fridge and kitchen. A really comfortable property in an excellent location. Clean and well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the pool and little garden. Although the main house is close by it feels very private. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Thank you Teresa and Miguel.

Lovely stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and everything you could need has been thought of. The welcome goodies were much appreciated as we arrived quite late. We hardly used our hire car and caught the train to Lisbon and bus to Sintra . Shame the weather didn’t allow us to use the pool, so envy anyone who gets to use it . It is a 12 -15 mins downhill walk to Cascais and Lidl and a couple of authentic Portuguese restaurants are within a 5 minutes walk.

Very nice stay

The property was slightly unusual for me - essentially a “granny flat” in the garden in a nice suburban setting. Very central to get to Places by car. About 15/20 min walk (downhill) to sea front Cascais - slightly longer walking back. The swimming pool was a delight, small but just what’s needed to cool down and I used it daily. Nice secluded garden table to have breakfast at and also those zoom/teams meetings while away on business. Hosts friendly and obliging.

Perfect for our visit to Cascais

We found the home to be an ideal place to stay whilst visiting the area. It was well equipped and comfortable. Having the garden and pool available for our sole use, as Teresa and Manuel were away, made it even more special! Unfortunately the weather wasnt as warm as we'd hoped so we didnt get to use the pool as much as we'd have liked. The wine, bread, cheese and figs waiting for us on arrival were great, and Teresa's and Manuel's introduction to the the property before they went away was most welcoming. Thank you.

An absolute joy!!

I booked my stay because I have a dear friend who lives close by. Because of the pandemic we have not seen eachother for a long time. The accommodation is amazing. Homely and relaxed. Teresa and Miguel are the most lovely hosts..I felt safe being a lone female but i also felt I had privacy which is so important to me. Spending time by the pool with a friend I can call family and exploring Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra was just the most wonderful experience..I shall definitely be back. Thank you so much Teresa and Miguel. I just wish the accommodation could accommodate for 3 as I would love to bring my sons next year.

Enjoyable stay

The little cottage was comfortable especially the beds. The sheets and towels very clean. The galley kitchen had pots & pans, cutlery etc. Also a selection of spices which was handy. The pool was great and my husband used it a lot. It was a bit cold for my liking. The pool is cleaned every week. The little garden was relaxing and calm. The location is great 10-15 mins walk into the centre, train station and bus stop. Very nice, safe and quiet neighbourhood. The owners are remarkable people. Very attentive and helpful. They left bread, milk, fruit, butter and wine in the fridge on arrival. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Promiscuité, vis à vis

Logement impeccable (confort+propreté) Piscine impeccable. Accueil impeccable, hôtes attentionnés (de quoi nous restaurer à notre arrivée, salé et sucré...). Tout vraiment impeccable mais nous regrettons simplement que l'annonce et ses photos n'informent pas sur le vis à vis et la forte proximité de l'habitation des propriétaires. Leur véranda est casi au bord de la piscine. Nous concernant, nous avons eu la chance que les propriétaires soient absent pendant toute la durée de notre séjour.
