Brand new converted farmhouse villa with large garden of 1,600 m² with fruit trees, private parking and exclusive private pool ( no sharing). Ground floor: 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms ( one on-suite), both suitable for 2 people. Upstairs a further bedroom and bathroom, plus a roof top terrace. Villa is fully equipped including washer dryer. A large open plan living room with satellite TV, free wifi and traditional Portuguese wood burning stove. Modern kitchen with hob, oven, fridge freezer as well as dishwasher. Dining area opening onto terrace with swimming pool, barbecue, outdoor furniture. Modern furnishings throughout and ideal for up to 6 people.

Relaxing holiday

The villa is very well equipped, with everything you need for a great vacation. The pool and the view are beautiful. In addition, the location of the villa is such that you can make very nice trips to interesting places and sights. Supermarkets and restaurants are within easy reach by car. In short, we simply felt at home here and had a good rest!

Great stay.

We spent 14 days in Villa Ricardo and really enjoyed it. Spacious house with everything you need. Really well equiped. Nice swimming pool and a terrace with a great view. The villa is located in a small, quiet village but many things to visit within 15 - 30 minutes drive. You do need a car. Very friendly neighbours and the host is very helpfull if you need something. We recommend!

Such a lovely place with a valley view to die for. We have so many good memories of Villa Ricardo, the location and the people. Neighbours are such lovely people and we have made life long friends following the invitation to The Baptist's weekly family gathering. 30 minutes from Nazarre, 50 mins from Obidos and you must go to Foz Do Arelho. One hour from Lisbon and Sintra... we have had an amazing holiday. Richard and his team are from another world and could not do enough for us. A perfect holiday in all respects. Rural Portugal will bring you down to earth for the things that really matter in life. Enjoy !!

Rural gem

We selected this home to relax and slow down at the end of a busy sightseeing trip to Portugal. This location served as a good home base in the central part of the country. We visited several smaller sites and the coastal towns of Nazaré and Sitio. All were easy 25-35 minute drives. The home was comfortable and well stocked with extras, which were appreciated. The rural setting was as advertised. Quiet and serene. Just what we wanted. Our host Richard was always responsive and available to answer questions. If you’re seeking a rural setting, I would highly recommend this property.

Maison récente, très agréable par ses volumes. La vue du salon est imprenable. La piscine de 3x6m permet de se rafraîchir. Et la mer n’est pas loin non plus! Les hôtesses ont été charmantes et très réactives.

Maison agréable sauf les extérieurs

Maison propre fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés des produits locaux nous attendaient (une attention bien appréciable). Le point noir est l'extérieur : impossibilité de manger sur la terrasse car celle ci est en plein soleil et la protection fournie (parasol) est inutilisable en raison du vent. La qualité du mobilier extérieur est à renouveler ( une chaise cassée sur quatre) des matelas de transat seraient bienvenus. La maison est bien située pour visiter nazaré et les environs.

Die Villa ist sehr gut, und nicht altmodisch. Leider keine Klimaanlage. Pool und Grill vorhanden. Sehr abgelegen keine Möglichkeit abends oder Morgens eine Kleinigkeit zu Essen. Toll, wenn man Ruhe sucht, und keine Lust auf nervige Nachbarn hat. Uns hat es so gefallen, und wir würde wiederkommen.

Great unique place to stay

Myself and my husband and kids stayed here for only 2 nights- I could easily have stayed week! We loved the location because it was surrounded by grapevines and amazing views. We drive the 30 min and explored the surrounding areas- it was a great chance to relax and enjoy the countryside of Portugal The accommodations are fabulous- super clean, big and has everything you need. It was stocked with wine and a few essentials which was such a nice touch. One of the neighbours gave us some oranges from their tree. The pool was great- all around we loved this place- thank you
