Fossgate Luxury Duplex City Centre Apartment has been redeveloped to a very high specification.It offers a modern and luxurious interior, beautifully furnished throughout and has everthing you need on your door step.

Fossgate is fast becoming known as ‘The Restaurant Street’, where there are many interesting eateries, ranging from Indian and Thai, to French, Italian, Polish and Nepalese.


This magnificent three bedroom property is accessed through the building’s secure entrance door and up a flight of stairs to the main door.

From the spacious first floor landing you will enter the apartment via a hallway that leads to the beautiful living area which has three extremely comfortable large sofas and the kitchen/dining room .

The kitchen is of a very high spec which has a washing machine and dishwasher with a dining area and equipped with everything you could possibly need to create a delicious meal (though with the enormous variety of cafes and restaurants on your doorstep, you probably won’t want to use it much!)

Downstairs also offers a downstairs toilet.

Heading upstairs there are three bedrooms.Two of the bedrooms have high quality king sized beds with lovely interiors.The third bedroom is a day bed with an additional pull out single bed to accommodate 2 guests.
There is an attractive family bathroom, with bath and shower over.

This property also offers a outside patio area with furniture for you to sit back and relax after a day in York.

Children and babies are welcome.

Perfect location for visiting York. Having its own parking is value in and of itself! The main windows do face the street and you can hear voices below all night long but it’s not enough to disrupt sleep. We had the room in the backside and couldn’t hear a thing. Would stay again!!!

York boutique is a lovely place to stay

York boutique is a lovely place to stay right in the middle of the town so everything is walkable. Lovely shops and restaurants nearby, very quiet even though it was in the high street we were not disturbed at night at all. Overall we had a lovely time in York and we would most definitely stay in the York Boutique again.

Great city centre location with parking. Property was as shown on pictures and had plenty of amenities although could of used a few more spare toilet rolls for our stay with 5 occupants. We requested an early check in the evening before as per instructions as dependent on the previous booking and were told we could check in from 12, no charge which was great. Clear instructions sent about how to find the property/parking and how to self check in/out. Overall great experience would stay here again.

Impressive stay. Easy and quick booking process, quick confirmation from the host and details sent for check in were very detailed and self explanatory. Flexible check in time was also nice. Apartment itself was in the best location, literally a 2 minute walk from the city centre and Fossgate had some really nice little bars and a great Indian restaurant just a stone throw from the apartment. Onsite parking in a private car park was great. Overall a really great stay, we would happily stay here again in when next visiting York.

Fossgate apartment was such a great find, we are delighted to have found this house and will be our new go to on our many visits to York. Such a beautiful city and it was so much nicer to stay here opposed to the usual hotel we stay in. We had everything on hand to cook our own meals etc. There was so much nearby, fossgate was full of quirky shops and cafes. Car parking was ideal and very secure. Nothing to complain about!

Lovely property in the heart of York - with parking!

I stayed here with my two sisters for two nights. Very nice, clean, warm, property: comfortable beds and excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Although we ate out, the kitchen was very well equipped is needed. Ideal location - easy to find and very easy to park in the designated space. And a short walk to all the delights of York. Owners were very accommodating when I asked to slightly change our booking by one night due to a funeral - this was a great help. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and low stress stay in York.

Perfect Location

This is a wonderful apartment perfectly placed to explore York within walking distance of everything as well as every type of cuisine possible. The facilities are great and the parking is a bonus. The major downside is the noise the windows are only single glazed and to be honest it is like constantly having the windows open on the front. It is better in the rear bedroom. This is still a really excellent property despite that and I would stay here again.

A fantastic stay

A brilliant apartment, clean and homely, really well equipped and lovely that there was a Christmas tree up in the lounge. The location is fantastic, quiet but really close to the centre of town. We will definitely stay there again.
