The location was great; there were parks less than 5 minutes walk, family friendly neighborhood, and not too far to walk to the underground. We struggled a bit to operate the key lockbox and had to look up the manual, but check-in was easy otherwise. The parking was not free, it wasn't terribly expensive, but there wasn't a parking pass or anything like that to allow us to park for free on the street. It was nicely spacious for 5 of us. The kitchen was small, but perfect for the breakfasts and one supper we prepared there. It did feel as though we were the first people in the home in many months. There were mold stains by the kitchen sink and a layer of dust on every surface and floor. The worst would be the fans in the living room. When we turned them on, large puffs of dust started to fall. Our party has dust allergies, so we made an effort to clean what we could, though we were unable to use the fans despite the warm weather. Luckily, there was cleaning solution we could use. Unluckily, there were no cleaning rags or paper towels. We ended up cleaning key surfaces with the spray and toilet paper until we were able to go out for paper towels. We also felt it necessary to clean every dish before we used them. There wasn't a vacuum, either. Since one wipe of the bathroom floor left the towel dark with dirt, we weren't confident the carpets were clean. A mouse also made an appearance, scurrying along the wall in the living room before dipping into a hole under a radiator.
