The property is located a few meters from one of the most beautiful coves of Favignana, Scalo Cavallo, close to the largest and most famous cove of the island, Cala Rossa, which can be admired from the windows and terraces of the villa.
The rocks on the seashore of Scalo Cavallo, as well as those of Cala Rossa, since ancient times, have been carved to obtain the tuffs for the buildings and loaded directly onto the boats, the only means of transport in previous eras. This led to a very suggestive coastal scenario.
In Scalo Cavallo, a few meters from Villa Le Calette, going down a small staircase carved into the rock you will arrive in the gulf surrounded by these carved rocks that now form swimming pools with very low water, continuously exchanged by the waves, where fish are often trapped, true joyful show for the little ones.

The villa is located next to a very panoramic square, surrounded by a tuff wall and a green ring that protects its privacy. It is a very peaceful place, as it is the most well-kept archaeological area on the island. The villa comprises two buildings, "house 1" and "house 2", separated by a staircase, therefore with different levels and orientations that ensure their privacy.
The gate leads to the two terraces in front of the smaller of the two houses of the villa, called "house1". From the terraces, going down a short staircase leads to the floor below, reserved for the other house, "house 2", object of this offer, where there is a beautiful garden surrounded by plants typical of the place, with lawn, barbecue, outdoor sink and outdoor hot water shower, in a reserved and suggestive corner.
The house has a veranda with a large table with period tiles, a dozen chairs, a brick sofa with cushions and deck chairs. The sea a few meters away ensures that even on the hottest days the climate is pleasant and cheered by the murmur of the waves. Once through the entrance door of "house 2" you enter the kitchen-dining room: it has a large window and is furnished with a large antique table and two long benches, a large and a small sideboard. It is equipped with a hob, sink, fridge and microwave, ceiling fan. From this area you can access, on two different sides, the two bedrooms: the largest room, about 25 square meters, has a double bed, two single beds in succession which, if not used, act as a sofa, two bedside tables, a table, a wardrobe, two bookcases, a TV, air conditioner and ceiling fan; from this room you go to an anteroom with a small closet. The bathroom with window, serving the room, has a shower with hot water, a small wardrobe, a bookshelf.
