This is a classic Carolina coast four bedroom home built on stilts, right on the beach front in Oak Island, North Carolina. Down the steps and you are on the beach. There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a laundry room downstairs. The whole house was remodeled and all new furniture was purchased in 2016. We ae remodeling both bathrooms in Fall 2018. The front room is wide open and with wonderful views of the ocean. We love this place and are sure you will enjoy it, too. The house sleeps 11 people on 3 queen beds, and five single beds (two bunkbeds). There is a futon in the front room. We have had fun vacationing here for 20 years and we're sure that you and your family will enjoy it, too.

About Kevin Hulbert
I have a beautiful wife and three beautiful kids who all love the beach. I retired from a career of U.S. Government service in 2014 and started my own consulting business, XK GROUP. Living in Washington, DC, we get to North Carolina as often as we can, but it makes sense to us to share our home with others rather than to leave it vacant for most of the year.
Kevin Hulbert purchased this House in 2000

The property was wonderful! The view was amazing. . . so close to the ocean!
The view was gorgeous from inside the house and on the front porch. The huge windows across the front of the house brought the soothing ocean inside. We could hear the ocean waves from the bedroom as well as the occasional nighttime rain on the roof. It was all so relaxing! The house is spacious, beautiful, and well equipped and Kevin, the owner, was wonderful! We lacked for nothing. And it was so nice to get an email from him checking on us and our needs. We checked out the restaurants he suggested and they were all just as he said they would be. He gave us the lay of the land before we got there, so it was easy to figure out how to get around. Thank you, Kevin! It was a great week, and it was VERY hard to come home!
Thanks! Glad you had a good time.
Annual family fall fishing
Overall we enjoyed our stay! Wonderful views of the ocean and short walk to the beach. Beautiful sun rises and sun sets! Plenty of comfortable seating/bedding and TV throughout the house.
However, we were disappointed there was a boat that occupied one side of house parking, wash room downstairs in sandy area.
Okay... Understood... But, I might add that there is probably still parking for about eight cars on the property despite the fact that one little 19 foot powerboat is parked under the East side of the house for the Winter. There is ample parking on the West side under the house and in the driveway, too.
Wonderful house... Fabulous views!
This is a dream house... It had everything we needed and more. The owners were great and renting was easy. This house is right on the beach and there are beautiful views from the house and from the front porch, too. The main room is big and open and perfect for families vacationing together. There is a huge TV and a sound bar, too. We can't wait to come back to this house!!!
Just as described! Beautiful home, wonderful hosts
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oak Island. The home owners were so gracious and accommodating. The home is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. And of course the view of the ocean was absolutely amazing! We look forward to staying again in the future!
Thanks! Yeah... you can’t beat the view from the house...
Nice house, location, and loved the beach.
We really enjoyed the beach. The layout of the house, the number of rooms and the type of beds in each room was perfect. Working with the owners was a great experience also. We will definitely rent this house again.
This home is beautiful inside and out. Just steps away from the beach!
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Oak Island is the quintessential island town on the Carolina coast.
