It is perched on a hill from which the valley of Toranzo is overlooked, through which passes the river Pas, famous for its trout and salmon in fishing season and which gives its name to the Pasiega region. Castillo Pedroso offers a natural environment ideal for lovers of outdoor sports, such as hiking, road bike or mountain bike through the summits of Cildá, Cotorredondo, Espina del Gallego, La Cuera or the forest of La Requejada.
