Lovely surroundings out in the countryside unfortunately the WiFi runs from the main house so the signal is very poor. The games room is misleading as in the view the property on cottages.com it show's that it is yours to use but it is opposite the property and is shared with other guests.Overall though a very Serene place with local activities and Folkstone a little drive

Barn Terrace is cosy and comfortable.
Barn Terrace is cosy and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the games room/barn was a great addition. The setting is lovely for country walks. If you are looking for a more rural location, this would be a good choice. As we stayed during the pandemic, there were some comfort items and kitchen supplies that were not available, which we did miss. Overall this is a good place for families, especially with children who are old enough to enjoy the facilities.

We enjoyed our short break at the Barn Terrace, the location is really lovely and so peaceful. The accommodation is inviting, spacious, warm & cosy. The separate games room is a real winner with table tennis, pool table, darts, air hockey & a games console and we all really enjoyed using it. There is so much to do in the local area we couldn't possibly do everything so we are planning on returning next year and hopefully to the Barn Terrace.

Lovely quiet location; wonderful accommodation - everything you needed, clean, fresh and modern, lovely and spacious, very pretty courtyard; a couple of blips which were sorted out very quickly by Emma and Josh - nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay with friendly owners in a lovely farm location - and was super clean.
Great place to stay with friendly owners in a lovely farm location - and was super clean. Due to CV19 restrictions items had been removed or stored so do take a sponge and oven gloves to make things easier for yourself and maybe some of your own games/things to do (same advice for all places I suppose).
Plenty to do and see in that part of Kent, highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at barn terrace.
We enjoyed our stay at barn terrace. We have stayed at this complex previously and owners are most helpful and attentive
We had a couple of issues but the owners were very prompt at sorting them out and very apologetic, nothing is too much trouble for Emma.
We really enjoyed using the games room and the booking rota was straight forward.
Our dog enjoyed her stay too, it is very doggy friendly.
Lots of places to visit locally a short drive to the shops and amenities. It is a peaceful location with lots of lovely walks a good relaxing break.

We had a lovely stay at the Barn. The setting is great and all being on the one level was great for our toddler and dog to run round. The owners were very accommodating also.

We loved staying here.
We loved staying here.Emma made us so welcome and made the new post lockdown rules and regs easy to use and go by. The kids loved the outside space as well as the games room. Although in the beautiful surroundings and seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it was easy to get to places.

The cottage could do with some minor touch ups but overall you cannot fault what is on offer.
The cottage could do with some minor touch ups but overall you cannot fault what is on offer. We booked the cottage to escape the city for a few days and enjoy some peace and quiet and it is exactly what we got for our short stay. The cottage is a short drive from various walk and sites to visit and if you want something a little further away Bedgebury Pinetum Park is beautiful. The Jackdaw Inn in Denton does some lovely food and is dog friendly in the bar area.

Although there are some things which could have been better ( instructions for appliances, more bins for ease of requested recycling, hoover and mop in situ) it was spacious for all of us.
It is a shame that the dogs apparently have to be on a lead in the garden even though it is enclosed and that that the information pack does not state this.

This was our second stay here.
This was our second stay here. We live the location, just far away enough from the town and village. Lots of nice walks as well. Even though it’s rural you can drive to the shops in a few minutes. The property itself is large but still homely. We like that we can bring our dog. The owner who lived in the near by farm house is very helpful. The first stay we had the DVD player didn’t work so they gave us there’s until they brought a new one for the barn the next day. Same second visit, we needed batteries and they got them straight away. They also were very understanding when one of the kids broke something. Hopefully they will let us back again!
