Lovely location

Very spacious and well-equipped cottage in ideal position for exploring the area although you need to be careful on the surrounding roads which are narrow with poor visibility.

If you're looking for peace and quiet. This is the place. If you want security for your doggies, brilliant! Also you won't need to bring anything but yourselves.

Lovely place to stay

We had a wonderful three night stay at Garland's Retreat over the Easter weekend. The bungalow is very clean and had everything we needed (and more). It was a great base for us to explore Dover and Deal castles and we also managed a trip to Sandwich. Yes, the WiFi is patchy, sometimes non-existent, but it certainly didn't impact our break. I'm so glad we booked - it's a beautiful place to stay.

Lovely location and property

The property is a home from home and a lot larger than we expected. Plenty of space, lots of extras in the cupboards, a large selection of dvds and a welcome gift. We loved having this as our base to go off exploring, the location is perfect for visiting Dover, Ramsgate, Margate and Deal. A highly recommended value for money option.

Tranquil Christmas Break

Absolutely perfect! House was lovely and spacious for my family. We had a beautiful time walking the countryside. Only downside was trying to keep our dog clean so it didn't leave a mess!

Lovely rural location

Bungalow was well equipped. Very warm and light. Our dog enjoyed the fully enclosed garden and we enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine on comfy garden chairs. The one level was perfect for my elderly parents.
