Fridge dirty, microwave dirty. Wires looked dangerous. Bed was raised on books. Overall, the property was dirty, carpets were dirty. Garden was unsightly and a hazard.
We left next day and had to stay in a local hotel. HomeAway refuse to get involved even though we sent picture evidence.
None of this has anything to do with the age of the property and everything to do with poor maintenance and poor management.
Would not recommend either this property or HomeAway to anyone.

We loved the Hideaway Cottage for its old English charm (15th century).
We loved the Hideaway Cottage for its old English charm (15th century). Wood beams, crooked walls and creaking floorboards - fantastic! Nice secluded garden to relax in too.
