Bothy es una acogedora casa de campo clasificada de grado II para 2, con una estufa de le��a y pesca disponible.


En un área de excepcional belleza natural, esta histórica casa de campo del siglo XVIII, clasificada como Grado II, se encuentra en el centro del encantador pueblo de Clun, a solo un paseo de dos pubs que sirven excelente comida y tiendas que ofrecen productos locales. Con una destreza restaurada en estilo rústico, con vigas de roble en todas partes y una gran chimenea de estilo inglés en la sala de estar, cuenta con un patio privado y el uso compartido de amplios jardines con césped que bajan hasta el río Clun. Excelentes paseos circulares están cerca, y Ludlow (con restaurantes gourmet), Shrewsbury y Ironbridge son fácilmente accesibles. Paseos a caballo disponibles cerca.

Desde la carretera troncal A49 en Craven Arms, tome el B4368 señalizado Clun por aproximadamente 8 millas. Entra en el pueblo y continúa por la calle principal. Al final la bifurcación se fue por la calle Bridge. Cresswell House es el primero a la izquierda con una puerta roja. La entrada a The Bothy está en la parte trasera a través de un camino de grava, inmediatamente después de Cresswell House.

Me and my boyfriend visited the Bothy for a small Christmas break. It was so lovely and cosy. Would definitely go back some time. Was completely perfect and we had the best time. We fell in love with the Bothy and took a liking to the fire place especially. The area was lovely, the views were amazing. The cottage was small, which for us was perfect. We had a lovely time in the very cosy and very cute Bothy. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, was clean and tidy, and had a well equipped kitchen which we enjoyed cooking in. It was a great hub for local walks around the area and to other places in the Shropshire Hills such as the Long Mynd (the Ashes Hollows walk was beautiful) and to Ludlow. We also enjoyed a nice meal in The White Horse Inn and a lunch in the Maltings Cafe, both in the village and nearby. Would highly recommend a stay here and we'd love to come back one day. A wonderful autumn break in a delightful historic cottage.

A wonderful autumn break in a delightful historic cottage. It was a beautiful peaceful setting and just what we were looking for. Our hosts, Jan and Glyn, were friendly and helpful. The cottage was perfect for us, comfortable, beautifully clean and felt Covid safe. The bath/shower under the sloping roof wasn't easy to negotiate but it wouldn't put us off returning. We enjoyed some of the many local walks, in fact it would be hard to find more beautiful countryside. The Bothy had good self-catering facilities but we also enjoyed a couple of excellent meals at one of the two village pubs. There was also a small tea shop nearby where the cakes come highly recommended. Thank you for an excellent holiday. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We really enjoyed our week's stay in this delightfully cosy and comfortable cottage with it's beautiful garden, complete with river at the bottom where Peter caught a number of brown trout. The gorgeous weather was an unexpected bonus and we were able to visit a number of wonderful places, including Ludlow, Stokesay Castle, Much Wenlock and the Carding Mill Valley. Lovely little cottage in beautiful grounds, which had everything we needed. Hosts checked by text to ensure we had arrived safely and had everything we needed but otherwise left us in peace although they were easily contactable if we needed them. They even went as far as to share a local running route at Black Hill that they had created, which was very beautiful. Very clean and nicely presented despite Covid measures to remove some unnecessary items but you wouldn't have noticed anything was missing. Local shop, pubs, green grocers and tea shop on the doorstep. Be warned you can't stand up in the bath to wash but this is all part of it's charm. We loved our week in this sweet little cottage.

We loved our week in this sweet little cottage. Its a 'proper cottage' experience, very quirky with an interesting history and grade 2 listed. The garden is beautiful, the patio area is private but the owners let you use the garden and the stream/river at the bottom for fishing. Ian caught a trout so he was very happy! Clun is really cute, two pubs that do real ales and food literally yards away, coffee shop, gift shop and the local spar seems to sell most things, sadly the butchers has closed down. The castle is a short walk and the scenery around is beautiful rolling hills. There are good walks all around Clun and the Shropshire Way is nearby. The traffic through the village is fairly light so we didn't experience any problems. The parking space is a little tricky but we got the hang of it. Its probably better to reverse in. We found everyone here really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the cottage and the area.

Wonderful,relaxing break in a cosy cottage which had everything you need for a great break. The access to the lovely gardens down to the river was an added bonus. The village is beautiful with two pubs and a shop and best if all, the people are all very friendly and welcoming to visitors
