Boasting stunning views across Loch Duich to the mountains of Skye, this very comfortable property is set right on the shore in its own little bay, with the Five Sisters of Kintail as a spectacular backdrop. Its lochside garden offers opportunities to observe a family of otters and abundant wildlife. Superb walking and climbing. Sea fishing from the shore. Kyle of Lochalsh (with bridge to Skye) 15 minutes’ drive. Shop ½ mile.. 2 steps to entrance.

Wonderful cottage on shores of Loch Duich

Two of us stayed for 7 nights in August to visit friends in the area and to attend to business on Skye with colleagues. Excellent, central location to explore Highlands and Islands region of Scotland. Very clean comfortable cottage/bungalow on the waters edge, spectacular views, private tranquil location, excellent kitchen for self catering. Carrie was a wonderful host, very responsive to texts, and the only disappointment was that we never met her in person to express our appreciation for allowing us to stay in her wonderful home. We will definitely stay again.

Loch Duich Cottage

Superb cottage in an idyllic setting on the shores of Loch Duich, Inverinate. Cottage was well equiped, very comfortable, centrally located for trips to Skye and the stunning scenery on the mainland. Would highly recommend a stay there - we will be back!

One of the best cottages we've stayed in very cosy warm and comfortable.

One of the best cottages we've stayed in very cosy warm and comfortable. Scenery right from window is amazing and we were lucky to see otters seals and porpoises. Lots to see and do in local area with so much coastal and mountain scenery all around. Local amenities are close with Manuelas Wee Bakery a must visit! Skye is only a short drive away as is Plockton. Carrie the host was very accommodating and had the house toasty warm for our arrival- all queries were quickly answered and very helpful. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here and will hopefully return ourselves soon. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Spent a really relaxing week here at Loch Duich Cottage. Welcoming and well equipped with the added bonus of being well suited to someone like myself who has very limited mobility. Lovely comfy bed and good quality furnishings which make such a difference to enjoyment, especially when you need to sit down a lot.Wonderful views from lounge and kitchen, we were lucky enough to see porpoises at play right outside. Would definitely recommend.

Cottage was well equipped which suited our group as we enjoy cooking and relaxing in the evenings. Nearest main shopping was 10 miles drive but we again found all we needed. The views from the cottage were wonderful in all weathers. the welcome gift of milk, butter etc was a lovely touch.

Fabulous, comfortable cottage with perfect views across the loch. Close to the Skye bridge making the island accessible. Difficult finding somewhere local to eat but fish and chips over in Broadford is a short drive and fab. Love this house and location

Loch Duich cottage is in a wonderful location with views up and down the Loch.

Loch Duich cottage is in a wonderful location with views up and down the Loch. It is ideally placed for touring the area, is warm and cozy and kept to a high standard. We enjoyed our stay and would have no problem recommending it. Keep an eye out to the beach on the left of the cottage for otters. The garage on the main road sells the basics, there is a Spar at Balmacara (10 miles) and Co-op's at Kyle of Lochalsh (12 miles) and Broadford (20 miles). Our recommendations are, on Skye - Elgol, The Quiraing, The Fairy Glen and the Sleat Peninsula, taking in Tarskavaig and Tokavaig. On the mainland - Glenelg, Gleann Beag and it's ancient Brochs, Torridon and the Bealach na Ba` (not for the faint- hearted!) Enjoy your holiday, we did.
