About Karey Lueder
We love the beauty and climate of the Gatlinburg area! After renting cabins for several years, we determined most cabins didn't offer, "a personal touch" or the high end amenities we require; which is a clean, updated and cozy environment. We purchased our first cabin, the Cozy Bear (vrbo #646839) in 2014 to provide a cabin rental that pampers our guests and offers what most other cabins appear to be missing.......such as Egyptian cotton bedding, deluxe mattresses, high end flat screens TV's & sound bars for maximum viewing and musical experiences. We want our guests to feel at home and enjoy the comfort of home, while wrapped in luxury. We have met so many wonderful people operating the Cozy Bear cabin that we wanted to expand our footprint in the area so others could enjoy the same comforts of a clean, neat and updated cabin, that offered more space than a 1 bedroom property. Our family & friends are always requesting a visit to the mountains, and we simply did not have ample room for the whole family to come down for holidays. Now with the Inn of Viewtopia and the Cozy Bear, we can comfortably fit the whole family, which is providing enjoyment and memories that will last a life time. Regardless of what your party seeks to do in Gatlinburg, you'll find that both cabins provide the perfect escape for a private mountain adventure. If you are staying at our properties, be on the lookout for us, as regardless of what we did during the day when we are in town, rest assured, we will be at one of the cabins having cocktails nightly at 5 pm -- watching the world "go by"!!!
Karey Lueder purchased this Chateau / Country House in 2016
Why Karey Lueder chose Gatlinburg
The View. Even the locals are in awe of the incredible, expansive views. We love the one level great room floor plan coupled with the spacious two bedroom king suites, this cabin is big, cozy, clean and comfortable.
What makes this Chateau / Country House unique
3 fire places, 2 king master suites, 2 & 1/2 baths....... this floor plan is spacious and requires only 3 short stairs to unload your gear -- unload into the kitchen, move your items quickly to the master suites and hit the deck and hot tub outside to enjoy the million dollar views! Newly renovated........this cabin had "good bones" - however the carpet and wallpaper had to go. We've put a lot of updates in this cabin and know you'll all love it.

This property is amazing. Very clean, attention to detail, location is absolutely perfect. Communication with Karey was great. The views are incredible and we had plenty of room( two adults, two teenage boys). We also enjoyed the bbq and the hot tub on the deck. Can't wait to go back!!!!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Viewtopia! Everything was very clean and well maintained. The cabin is very beautiful with great views and plenty of space for a family! The beds are so comfortable that even my kids bragged on that! Karey is a great owner and very responsive to messages! I highly recommend this cabin!
Don’t pass this property up!
What a wonderful cabin! Clean, cozy & what a magnificent view. Started my mornings on the back deck listening & seeing all the different birds. A couple mornings I was greeted by a hummingbird. The mountains were ever changing & I could sit all day just watching. During the day, Gatlinburg is only minutes away, Pigeon Forge a few more minutes from there. The artisan community is very close by. In the evening we cooked our own meals (saving $$) on the grill & in the full kitchen. We could do our own wash so we could pack light. The evenings are incredible! Listen to the cicadas on the back porch in surround sound. Watch the lightening bugs over the balcony. My suggestion to renters is to bring a recliner chair, lay back & watch the shooting stars otherwise you’ll get a kink in your neck from constantly looking up. Fall asleep in such comfortable beds with feather pillows & refuel for the next day.
Karey was a wonderful host & answered all questions I had before I got there. She couldn’t be more accommodating. I’ll definately be staying here again!
Great mountain stay
The location and views are as advertised! Very clean property.
A wonderful little getaway.
Karey was a wonderful host. She was in constant contact with us during the reservation process. The day prior to check-in, Karey informed us that we would be able to check in a few hours early, a pleasant surprise. We arrived at the cabin mid afternoon and dropped off our supplies.
The cabin has an excellent layout as you enter into the kitchen area and can look straight thru the middle of the house with the pool table and living room all easily accessible. There is also a master bedroom on each side on the main living area.
The cabin has incredible views into Smoky Mountain National Park which we enjoyed on several occasions while grilling on the deck an enjoying the hot tub in the evening. The cabin is accessible off of the Arts and Crafts trail in Gatlinburg, which provides plenty of shopping opportunities in the area.
While staying at the cabin, we took the opportunity to spend some time exploring the Roaring Fork Motor Trail, Little River Road, Cades Cove, and Porter's Creek on the Tennessee side of the park. We also drove thru the park to see the waterfalls in the Deep Creek area on the North Carolina side. Lastly we spent one day driving toward Knoxville to visit the Gardens at the University of Tennessee and the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum. The cabin served an an excellent base for our adventures as we were able to access all of these areas within an hours drive of the cabin.
Even thru the rainy weather we were able to have an enjoyable time and explore plenty of sites in the area. We also enjoyed coming home to the cabin each night to spend some time relaxing and taking in the peacefulness and serenity of the area.
