Grand Lodge is a premier location right on the mountain. Ski-in, ski-out, all day and enjoy the beautiful lodge and amenities. Breckenridge is minutes away and offers many restaurants, pubs, and shops. There is interesting shopping, a local movie theater and plenty of night life.

You will be able to enjoy all resort areas afforded to any guest. Pools, gymnasium, business center, and family media room all are included. Spa, restaurant, concierge and ski rentals on site.

Adding to the ski-in/ski-out convenience of the Grand Lodge on Peak 7, guests can leave their skis and snowboards at the ski racks while enjoying lunch or a break. In addition, this room at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 includes a complimentary ski locker for guests to use during their stay in a convenient location.

Grand Lodge on Peak 7 features four private movie theaters. Each movie theater is equipped with state of the art video technology and is operated by using a touch screen pad to select a movie or to watch Direct TV.

Breckenridge is a beautiful Victorian mining town with many shops, restaurants, pubs, and even its own brewery to enjoy. Free local transportation to get around town.

Free public transportation from the resort and all around Breckenridge. The Gondola is next door, and you can ride it up to the slopes, or down into town. If you are flying in to Denver, a 4 wheel drive car rental would be useful. A shuttle also serves Breckenridge from Denver International Airport (Rocky Mountain Shuttle, Summit Express, CME, others)

Ski In/Out Perfection

The Grand Lodge is by far the best location on the mountain with all the amenities. The Peak 7 base is the least crowded of any base area and the easy access to the Breck gondola and GL7 shuttle make this location a no brainer. Indoor parking and spacious ski lockers & locker room just steps from the lift are pure gravy. The 2 bedroom unit has it all: High-end appointments/fixtures, full kitchen with everything, two full baths (one with huge/deep tub and dual shower), washer/dryer in unit, dining seating for 10, fireplace…and the VIEW! You’re looking right up Peak 7 and over the 4-spa & pool area plus the Independence lift (hint…great vantage point for timing the trip to the locker to grab skis and go). Ski all you want without having to schlep food onto the hill. Stop for lunch in the room, then hawk the lift line from the patio to time your return. Ski in, ski out perfection.

Immaculate, family-friendly New Years Skiing w/all the bells and whistles, close to everything

Having stayed at Peak 8 before, we decided to try something new and we were elated. This fantastic 2 BR, 2 BA w/den slope side condo on the 2nd floor with views of everything did not disappoint. The owner, Jeff, was a true pleasure to work with and the personification of professional and attentive. The location can't be beat, with all of Peak 7 to explore and loads of blue tracks, not to mention the gorgeous new Pioneer restaurant at the top. A few easy traverses and we had all of Peaks 8 & 9 at our feet. Breck sports is on site at the base of the mountain and was the perfect spot to rent/reserve our gear, rather than dealing with all the hustle and bustle at Peak 8. While the ski school is located at Peak 8, we found it a non-issue as a simple hop of the gondola right out the back door of the Grand Lodge carried us to our destination. In fact, the gondola was so convenient (and free), we took it into town when shopping, sightseeing or readying for our dogsled tour. And while the gondola did stop running a short while after the slopes closed, the free Grand Lodge shuttle was an easy phone call away and happily picked us up from the market, Breckenridge Brew Pub or several locations downtown. Skiing over the holidays never gets old: the lobby and foyer decorations were beautiful, the staff so accommodating and the ambiance and fresh powder just magical. We enjoyed several of the Lodge's heated pools and spas, the Sevens restaurant and apres ski gathering as well as the small sundries shop with free coffee each morning. Concierges were available to help with adventures and the Lodge had a full menu of activities to keep both adults and kids entertained. Just beneath the Sevens was the most amazing (to our kids anyways) arcade/game room with adjacent private theaters which we reserved for our own movie night, complete with bring-our-own food/munchies. Ski lockers come with the unit rental, so one less thing to hassle with in the morning. In room washer & dryer made all the costume changes of daily skiing to nighttime relaxing a breeze. In sum, we could not have asked for more and would highly recommend this amazing slope side condo. No need to search further, you have found what you're looking for in New Years skiing right here.
