Not like the pictures

This property was disappointing for the price we paid. The pictures made this apartment look very luxurious, and in fact, it was not that nice. The bathrooms in particular were not gracious. The apartment was also VERY loud - you can hear people in the stairwell at all hours of the day and night and we had to go upstairs to ask neighbors to quiet down after midnight one night. The access with the app is not particularly convenient and was difficult to access the first time - we were finally able to get things working but it required a few calls to the property manager. The location was good, but not enought to get over the other problems. And it's very clearly a buidling entirely made up of rental spaces, so not particularly well kept.

First Time in Barcelona

Great location and property! Super friendly and helpful maintenance man who helped us navigate how to get into the building and into our apartment. Things to improve....beds....hard mattresses, mediocre pillows. Getting help with issues when they arise. This property is managed by a third party. They were rude and not helpful. The only way our issues got resolved is by the maintenance man calling someone for us. Another family struggled with getting help they needed. Calling each time for help, different people answered. I would stay there again for sure, but the initial hiccups upon arrival were aggravating. Location is great...access to subway was right out the door. Super convenient!

Séjour gâché par le mode de réservation

Nous avons réservé par Abritel sans soucis comme d'habitude. Pourtant, sans nouvelles du loueur nous l'avons contacté. Il a dit ne pas avoir reçu la réservation, et que notre appartement était loué sur la 2e partie du séjour. Il nous propose de le prendre quand même et de déménager à mi-séjour. Nous avons dû payer en dehors d'Abritel juste avant de prendre l'avion, et avons reçu l'adresse une fois arrivés à Barcelone !!! Un peu juste non ? Quel stress. Pour couronner le tout, en milieu de séjour, la clef digitale (sur une appli de smartphone) ne marche plus. Nous avons attendu 1h40 pour être dépanné, avec notre enfant qui a paniqué de se retrouver à la rue. Pour finir, ils ont dit ne pas avoir eu le premier paiement Abritel et ont conservé notre caution. Facile pour eux, ça leur permet d'encaisser la marge d'Abritel. Bref, ne passez pas par Abritel pour ce loueur (Habitat Apartments), ils se servent d'Abritel pour vous recruter seulement, et pas pour payer. A part ça, les appartements sont bien.

In the Neighborhood

Part of the beauty of Barcelona is the architectural flavor. This location puts you right in the middle of a great neighborhood (Eixample), two blocks from the Metro and just far enough away from the over touristed Las Ramblas, El Born, and Gothic Quarter. Beautiful views, a nice kitchen and a washer / dryer make this a perfect apartment.

Spacious apt in a great location

Spacious three-bedroom, two bath apt. in a great neighborhood. Close to metro, restaurants, shops and Gaudi structures. Host was not able to arrange for airport transport. Requested three keys but only two provided, one of which was needed to operate electricity. Weak wi-fi connection.

This place is great. Amazing view from the balcony. Very clean, beautifully decorated, modern appliances. Central location with great cafe downstairs.
