Beautiful luxury villa in Royal Westmoreland

This beautiful Villa was once owned by England s most successful Cricket Captain and is home to some unique cricket memorabilia. The Pavilion is located in the prestigious Royal Westmoreland Estate which boasts a Robert Trent Jones Jr golf course, beach club, tennis courts and salt water swimming pools.

Guests can relax in this spacious 5 bedroom property which hosts 3 bedroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs, each with it s own bathroom.
One of the downstairs bedrooms opens onto the terrace and can be made up as a King or 2 singles.
Guests have the option of indoor or outdoor dining, a cozy backyard great for kids and a small home office.
Soak up the sun on our private terrace and enjoy a dip in the infinity pool.
The property has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry area and comes with Housekeeping service three days per week.
The Pavilion has membership at the exclusive Fairmont Royal Pavilion beach club which is located just 5 minutes drive away.
Royal Westmoreland is a gated resort which offers guests a vibrant community atmosphere with lots to do for all ages.
Golf can be arranged for an additional charge and there is a Golf Cart for guests to use at the Villa to get around the property.
Located just North of Holetown, you are minutes away from many fine dining restaurants, shopping and nightlife five minutes away from excellent beaches.

The villa exceeded our expectations, it’s absolutely stunning. The pool is amazing, we were a family of 6 adults,one toddler, age range 86 to 2.We spent loads of time outside and made use of the BBQ.This definitely some where we will be booking again. For larger groups/families it’s ideal

We had a lovely 2 weeks in the villa making lots of family memories. The villa has a spacious layout so you are not on top of one another. The pool is great and grandkids swimming came on really well. We used the gas BBQ a lot which was good, although its heat distribution is a bit uneven. The kitchen is a bit tired and some drawers in need of repair, but we understand there is a refurbishment happening soon. The housekeeper (Diane) was wonderful and always cheerful.

Another excellent family holiday at 'The Pavilion'

Another excellent stay at 'The Pavilion' for an extended family holiday. Could not fault the property or management of our bookings in terms of responses to messages etc. Without a doubt we will not hesitate in booking this property in the future. It should be noted that to access this area of Barbados a rental car is essential.

Fantastic Stay!

This property is honestly fantastic. The whole family enjoyed their stay. It was always clean due to the friendly cleaners. Nicky was very helpful and always quick to communicate. Taxi's will do pick up / drop off here, but its really worth renting a car. Supermarket, gym, beach, bars and restaurants all 5 - 10 mins drive away. We're looking forward to staying again!

Barbados - Fellas Trip

We stayed at this Royal Westmoreland property for 6 days and the host was very accommodating during our check-in and check-out process. The property was cleaned and restocked every other day. The host also provided recommendations for a chef, whom I highly recommend and transportation. We thoroughly enjoyed the in-door out-door living concept of this property and the icing on the cake for us was the golf cart.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was 9 of us, the monkeys was a plus. One if the monkey's came near us and was posing in different poses like he knew we were taking pictures lol. Definitely would recommend and would go back. The neighborhood is nice and quite, Janelle the tour guide is a must so Definitely hit her up very professional. Our stay was from 09/02 - 09/07/2023

Gorgeous house and location

The property manager was locked out of his VRBO account and didn't see our messages, but calling VRBO, they called the manager on his cell/ mobile and remedied the issue. Otherwise, everything was seamless. Lovely property in a beautiful community 8 minute's drive from Limegrove Center where most of your needs: /nice restaurants, french bakery, high-end supermarket/ grocery store, gym. Lines in the Massy less expensive store nearby Limegrove are long, so go after 7 pm. Our only minor gripe with the house is that the solar hot water system cannot provide enough hot water for a big group, and some of the showers were tepid at best. We never got the microwave to work. Having said that, if the new owners were to update the hot water system, BBQ (too small and not hot enough to cook efficiently) and a few kitchen appliances, the house would be perfect for our needs. The new owners might also consider updating their membership with the community so guests could use the resources like the gym and communal pool. As other reviewers have noted, a rental car is essential. Despite these minor gripes, we would happily return.

Wonderful villa in perfect location

Three couples stayed here for two weeks in May. The villa has five bedrooms, but we only used the two upstairs and the large downstairs bedroom. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The backyard is a lovely oasis that we used every day. (Loved seeing the monkeys stroll through the backyard!) The villa is in a perfect location -- 10 minute drive to the great restaurants, beaches and shopping in Holetown. Nicky met our group at the villa at check-in and gave us instructions on how to contact him. We had a couple of minor issues and he was very responsive. Over all, just a great vacation in a lovely setting. Would definitely return to this villa. A couple of notes: (1) the bedrooms are air-conditioned, but the main living areas are not. This was not a problem as the doors are meant to be left open and we got a wonderful breeze that kept the downstairs cool. This wasn't a problem for us, but if you require A/C for the entire house, you may want to keep this in mind; (2) the kitchen is enormous and has two under counter refrigerators that weren't working. (These are in addition to the wine fridge and the usual kitchen fridge.) We didn't need the extra space, but we let Nicky know about the issues. We were told the kitchen was going to be renovated in the near future, so you may want to check on the status of that before booking. The kitchen is lovely now, I can't imagine what it will look like after a remodel! All in all, a great time was had by everyone

Beautiful Property - almost perfect

We were a group of family/friends - 10 in total which included adults and teens. Beautiful home and location. Lovely private pool. Service with the property manager Nicky was excellent. Cleaning services provided with the home was fantastic. We felt safe in the home and it was very clean. Our reason for the three star rating was due to a few hiccups with the home and one major drawback. The home is going through some renovations and much of the kitchen (although beautiful and fully stocked), half the cupboards still had paint and construction supplies. Not a huge issue... a few hiccups with BBQ not working the first day. Nicky came the next day and resolved the issue. Laundry machines included and could definitely use an update. Again, minor issues. Main pain point for this house is the hot water. The first day we arrived, 2-3 individuals did get a hot shower. The rest of us had lukewarm to cold showers. We called management the next day. He did provide some trouble shooting and contacted the solar panel company. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved. This was a pain point because we would be beach hopping daily and needed hot showers.. the back up switch we were provided did provide enough hot water one day for about 2 showers. Not sufficient for 10 people. Owners should look into asap. They did not compensate for this which was disappointing for the amounts we paid for the house. Still great trip but would re-consider until the hot water issue is resolved.

Family Holiday at The Pavilion, Royal Westmoreland

Third visit to this property and once again The Pavilion lived up to all our expectations. Excellent location, close to beaches and restaurants although car hire is essential. As a three generation family, we will certainly look to stay here in the future.

The Pavilion, Palm Grove

We loved the pool and large shaded veranda. Really appreciated the high quality comfortable sun loungers. Great fun exploring the beautiful estate on the golf buggy, morning walks and ‘monkey safaris’. Enjoyed drinks at the Rum Shack but wouldn’t recommend the food. Better restaurants at The Deck at Sugar Hill and the Fish Pot.

Great villa, perfect for a family holiday

Very big and spacious so we never felt on top of each other. Big bedrooms all with air on. Lovely calm location, great pool, and super easy to get everywhere (car required) and beach club was ideal. We where the first guests in a long time so a couple of early issues to deal with but nothing that wasn’t solved. We all agreed we should have stayed longer and would love to go back.

Family Holiday November 2019

Very spacious villa providing everything you could need for a family or group of friends holiday. Cleanliness could not be faulted and Stacey the maid did a very thorough job. Met on arrival by the property manager who explained we needed to know. Golf buggy was provided which was a great way to explore the estate. Due to location of Royal Westmorland a car is essential for visiting beaches, restaurants, supermarkets etc. Overall we had a wonderful extended family holiday and would not hesitate to recommend. Already thinking about returning ourselves.

Wonderful Family Vacation at The Pavilion

Everything about the villa was first class. We enjoyed the layout of the house, the pool, the grill and all the amenities. We cooked dinner at home several nights. The golf cart came in handy to travel around the neighborhood and the beach club access made it easy to get a lounger and some shade. Royal Westmoreland was beautiful and we enjoyed the views of the golf course and the sea. We would definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Andrea for her local advice and being responsive to any requests.

Great Villa

We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great stay, looked just like the pictures. One of the main reasons we chose the villa was because of the pool and it lived up to expectations. We also popped to the Fairmont Club a couple of times, which we found was had a great beach, although when the school holidays started it was a lot busier but that's to be expected. The maid service was Mon, Wed and Fri and kept everything clean including the BBQ! Andrea who manages the property was extremely helpful, we actually got married whilst we were in Barbados and she helped out with a number of queries we had, which made our life a lot easier.
