About Pete & Sarah Gage
Peter Purchased this property in 2002 and lived in one of the apartments and rented out the others, slowly restoring all the property. In 2013 Peter married Sarah and the next year they had their first baby, Piper and quickly were outgrowing their place. With baby #2, Riley, they have moved out of their place and are now happy to have it as a place for guests to stay. We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we did!

Great place to stay when visiting family in the area.
Clean but somewhat loud neighbors.
We did enjoy our stay in this old house converted rental triplex. This is one of those old homes with lots of character in tact. I did find that neighbors can be easily heard, which should be expected in an old home. We ourselves have a century old home so we are familiar. The furniture has changed some since the photo on the site as theirs no longer a daybed in the livingroom. The twin mattress in the master bedroom closet also worked out perfectly for my special needs 3 year old. We keep him with us on our vacation so I can wake if he starts to wonder. I believe he actually slept better here than he did in any other place and that mattress was a big reason why.
The laundry area is actually in the original basement. Luckily it was not a coin operated one and their were multiple machines which was great as we met someone in passing.
I absolutely loved our choice of stay - the neighborhood was memory-filled and rejuvienating! It’s close access toHI90. Facilities wet clean and basic - perfectly okayfor us because we didn’t use it for anything other than a stopovers or overnight. Much more natural and relaxing than a hotel. Thumbs up in my book! Thanks!
Great quiet location
Perfect little apartments for our family of 3. The owner Pete was very accommodating. There's also a great ice cream shop right next door.
Wish it was a little quieter and clean but the location was great!!!
I did not realize there was an upper unit whom I could hear walking around at all hours of the night and occasionally waking up my 2yo daughter when they were running the shower. Plus I anticipated a cleaner environment from the previous reviews. Mine and my daughters socks were a dark brown just from walking around the apartment and there was wood shavings or something all over the bathroom floor and in the carpet provided. I did love the towels and provision of games and DVDs were great. The location is great and close to Manito Park which is what I was hoping. Overall a good experience, good pricing for the environment, and the owner was easily accessible and pleasant to talk to. However I’m not sure if I’d stay here again due to the noise and cleanliness.
Cozy, convenient, and quiet
My sister stayed a long weekend here and found the apartment quite cozy and convenient to many of the places we visited -- including nearby Manito Park. Having dedicated parking was another plus as was using the lock box to easily enter and exit. Since she was staying alone, we appreciated the secluded location. The apartment was clean, bed comfortable, and kitchen just right for making a quick snack. Thank you!
