Escape to the Downriver Cottage, a cozy and quiet retreat in Northwest Spokane's beautiful Audubon-Downriver neighborhood. This stylish 1-bed, 1-bath farmhouse cottage comfortably sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, complimentary coffee & tea, high-speed WiFi, Roku TV’s, AC/Heat, a washer and dryer, and a private fenced backyard. A convenient and quiet stay just minutes from downtown Spokane, sports complexes, and the airport.

Bedroom & Bathroom:
- Private bedroom with a luxury memory foam queen bed and a Roku TV.
- Attached to a full bathroom featuring a modern walk-in shower.

Living Room:
- Unwind on a plush sofa that converts in to a comfortable queen-size sofa bed.
- 50' Roku TV for your entertainment.

Kitchen:
- Fully stocked with white cabinetry, butcher block countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Everything you need to prepare meals.
- Keurig Duo for drip coffee and pods. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea.
- Dining table to enjoy meals together.

The garage is not available for guest use at this time.

Interaction with Guests:
We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their stay. While we will not be present during your stay, we are readily available via the app or by phone if you have any questions or need assistance.

Seasonal Amenities: Please be aware that the patio furniture and BBQ are seasonal amenities and are not available for use during the winter months.

Security: For your safety and security, there is an exterior Ring Doorbell security camera located at the front door of the property, monitoring the front exterior of the home.

We have stayed at the Downriver Cottage several times. It never disappoints us. Nathan and Michelle have created a space that is perfect for a couple or small family. Everything you might need is there. The easiest day to describe it, is it like COMING HOME. We arrived a few days before Christmas, greeted by a precious Christmas tree. Such a wonderful stay. 5 star review and highly recommended for your next Spokane stay.

Another 5 Star stay at the Cozy Cottage. Nathan is a stellar host. This house is comfy, clean, updated and very well stocked with anything you might need. This is our regular stay whenever we are in Spokane.

Nathan's place is outstanding. A perfect place to stay in North Spokane. It is clean, comfortable, well stocked, had everything you can ever need. Bed is comfortable. Full size kitchen. Even has a stacked Washer/Dryer. We have stayed here several times and consider this our home away from home.

The Cozy Cottage is a wonderful and perfect place. We have stayed here three times already and this is our regular VRBO when we are in Spokane. Nathan and Michelle are wonderful hosts and have done such a great job with this outstanding space. Comfortable, great location, very up to date and well stocked with TLC touches. 5 stars indeed.

Our three-day stay in Spokane was perfect. The quiet neighborhood was a true highlight, providing a peaceful escape after busy days of exploring. Its proximity to all the main attractions, including Riverfront Park and downtown, made getting around incredibly easy. The house was VERY clean and Nathan thought of every detail! We highly recommend it for anyone seeking a relaxing and accessible visit to Spokane.

We absolutely enjoyed our one night stay in this beautiful cozy cottage in this very quiet Spokane neighbourhood. Check-in was really easy and upon our arrival was a lovely welcome card and a nice basket full of treats. This pristine home is well stocked with everything you would need for your stay with deluxe bedding and very comfortable bed. This cozy cottage is very clean and in immaculate condition. It is well equipped with an A/C , fans, extra bedding, towels and other extras, if needed. We also enjoyed the large TV in both the bedroom and living room and deluxe coffee maker. A very nice binder is also provided by the hosts with all details, instructions and information on places to eat and places to visit in Spokane. We loved this beautifully decorated home, excellent communication with the hosts and look forward to our next stay at Nathan & Michelle’s place.

My Heroy

Great little cottage type home for a single family. Very clean and just cozy enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The location is close to family members that made visiting nice. Thank you for such a great stay.

Charm without the farm :)

This cozy abode had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Very functional unit with thoughtful touches like laundry pods and dryer sheets available. Coffee and snacks were much appreciated. Truly one of the best VRBO units we have stayed at in Spokane!

Long comfortable stay in Spokane

We had a great stay in Spokane when we were here for almost 2 weeks. The cute little house was clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home. The kitchen had all the tools we needed. Any communication with the hosts was prompt and helpful. The location is great— 15 mins or less from anywhere we needed to go.

We loved staying at Downriver Cottage. Super updated and very pleasant even with 90-100+ temps. Nice, big shower, comfortable bed and couch. Host, Nathan, was very helpful and solved a small problem very quickly. We will stay here again and again when we return to Spokane.

A wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage

My wife and I stayed in Nathan's Cozy Cottage for a wonderful 4-night stay. It was simply perfect for us, as it was near our "kids" house in North Spokane. So very comfortable. Wonderful accommodations. The Cottage is one of the most comfortable, well stocked and cozy places we have ever stayed. Nathan and his wife did such a great job in stocking their Cottage. He was a great host and communicator. This will become our place to stay when traveling to Spokane. Thanks Nathan. We so appreciated your hospitality.

We loved this home and property so much, that we returned to this beautiful property and cozy cottage twice in the same trip! (Our destination was Yellowstone National Park & Grand Teton National Park), so it worked out wonderfully that this is the lovely place we chose to stay at, both going and coming from the parks. This property was everything we hoped it would be! Clean, immaculate, new, warm, inviting with a lovely decor and lots of extras! We could have not asked for anything more! The home is completely stocked with eveyrthing we needed, to extra towels and supplies. The bed was the most comforatble bed we slept in on our 15-day trip, with such beautiful quality bedding. The hosts provided a book which thoroughly explained instructions and places to see and things to do in Spokane. (Unfortunately, this trip we had one very smokey day, so we could not do everything that we wanted to do in downtown Spokane, due to the heavy smoke). Our hosts provided treats for our stay and a lovely welcome card for us on our arrival! Thank you again, Nathan & Michelle! If we ever find ourselves back in Spokane, we would not hesitate to stay at your beautiful place again, which was so perfect for us and such a wonderful stay!

Cute little cottage in what seems like a quiet neighborhood

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing. We were so thankful to have a nice place to come back to after a few long days of baseball. The kitchen had all of the amenities needed and a nice coffee pot! Huge perk! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable bed- it was kind of hard, but I’m also very partial to my own bed. We will definitely be looking to book this place again next time we’re in town!

Rugby weekend getaway

Myself, my girlfriend andy teenage daughter came to Spokane for the Fool's Fest at Dwight Merkel sports complex and this house was the closest one available. Best decision to rent ever!!! So clean and just amazing. They had recently remodeled and everything they had done was just perfect. The house was stocked well and they had thought of everything. From the little details to the kitchen that had everything I needed to make a meal the night after a long day of hanging at the fields. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. We sat outside and felt like we weren't on the city at all. We will most certainly be renting this again!

Cozy and quaint cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Downriver Cottage. It was a fantastic value. Very private, comfortable, and cute. Would be perfect for couples, but worked great for us and our kids. It was very clean and the guidebook was helpful. We liked being able to park off the street. The house is so small (in a good way!) that the yard/lot feels huge. It'll be really beautiful when Nathan can put in a grassy yard, but we found it very charming as it was. Everything worked great, from internet, to shower, to stove. I thought the bed was very comfortable. We would personally prefer the bedding to be laundered with frange free detergent, but we understand that not everyone may feel that way. Would happily stay there again. If it were just my wife and I, we'd be tempted to buy or build a place like it. We could've paid about the same amount of money to get a hotel room with a separate room, but instead had a much nicer and more relaxing experience. Really can't understate how clean and well kept the house is. Nathan has done a great job with it. He was also a very good communicator. We didn't have any questions because everything was covered. Thank you, Nathan!
