Charming gite in a great location

Well equipped gite, full of character and in lovely rural surroundings. Plenty of outside spaces to explore and a nice garden to catch the afternoon sun. Easily sleeps 10-12 depending on the makeup of the party, but the people sleeping on the second floor will have to navigate the narrow spiral staircase.. Great location, only 15 minutes from Cherbourg with good access to the main road but far enough away to feel you’re in the middle of nowhere. 30 minutes from both east and west coasts and beaches, with Utah and Omaha D day sites only a bit further away.

super séjour familial

Tout à fait approprié à notre pèlerinage familial dans le Cotentin que je faisais découvrir à mes enfants et petits enfants qui ne connaissaient pas bien. La chasse aux oeufs dans le parc restera dans nos mémoires, de même que nos soirées au coin du feu. Les plus sportifs ont fait un jogging le matin dans les environs et ont découvert une campagne magnifique et les animaux... Ce gîte a beaucoup de charme, est très vaste, nous étions répartis sur deux étages. Merci à Mark et Fiona pour leur accueil.

Nous avons vécu une vie de châtelain pendant une semaine en profitant du parc et d'un gîte grandiose pour 8 personnes où rien ne manquait des chambres à la cuisine en passant par un grand salon convivial pour les 4 couples que nous étions. Notre Hôte Marck a toujours été présent à notre appel sans être avare d'explications et en ayant eu la gentillesse de chauffer l'ensemble de la maison pour notre arrivée. L'emplacement de ce site est très bien situé pour visiter tout le Cotentin avec ses merveilles à découvrir. L'endroit est idéal pour sillonner d'est en ouest et ensuite se retrouver le soir au coin du feu. A recommander chaleureusement jean marie
