Thank you Amanda for your wonderful review! We are certainly in an ideal situation for sightseeing as well as restaurants and shops. We try to make the gîte as welcoming as possible and by thinking of all the little bits that you could possibly need, such as shower gel, olive oil and a bottle of wine! We really hope that you come back and stay here again another time in the not too distant future.

We're sorry to hear that you felt our gite was not as expected. It clearly states that there are steep stairs within the gite and the gardens on both VRBO and our own website. Normally, there is no access to our site before 4pm on day of arrival to allow sufficient time to prepare the gites to our high standards as is stated in our terms and conditions. However, we do encourage guests to contact us by phone prior to arrival with their ETA, to provide the best welcome and, if possible, we may be able to accommodate an earlier arrival. We do apologise for the electrical outages and are actively seeking solutions to rectify this for the future. We were surprised as the supply of groceries was described as basic as we provide a generous welcome pack as well as toiletries etc. Most people think our gites are the best equipped that they had been to.
