Located in the hearth of Florence on the top roof of a wonderful and aristocratic building, belonged to the family Niccolini-Bourbon Del Monte during the 17th century, this property has conserved a rare and fascinating entrance with a magnificent staircase. The elevator goes up to the second floor then there are 25 more steps to reach the flat (sse the pictures). This apartment is quiet and tastefully furnished with modern and sophisticated decorations in the tones of beige, light grey and black. Within its elegant and metropolitan look, this space is very spacious in order to accommodate families or group of friends, travelling together. The flat is all spread on one floor where you can find two living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. On an upper level (a staircase with 13 steps) you can find another bedroom, with two single beds and a bathroom en suite, in total privacy. This apartment can host up to 6 people in the three main bedrooms-
A doorman is available during day time and outside the building you can find two other facilities: a private garage on request (prices depending on the period and on the type of car) and a just renovated fitness centre.

Communication with Cristina was excellent before and during the stay. She was very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Florence. The information book provided by the hosts was very useful and gave us lots of ideas such as restaurant choices including allergies. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

Excellent location! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Three bathrooms were a plus! We didn't use the kitchen but it had everything you would need to cook a meal. Felt safe and would highly recommend for your next vacation. The owners, Cristina and Antonio kept in touch and answered all of my questions. Grazie mille!

Christina and Antonio communicate with me from the first day of booking until our last day of our stay. They were welcoming and provided every detail needed for our arrival until departure. The house was beautiful, clean and lots of natural light. Every amenity that you need while traveling and away from home for a long time. The location was perfect, very easy to walk from the train station and all the local Florence sites. I would love to stay there again!

Great location and clean luxurious Apartment

It was a fabulous stay in the heart of Florence close to all the sights. The apartment was absolutely sparkling clean which we so appreciate. The only downside was that we couldn't figure out the hot water at the apartment but since it was so very hot, we did appreciate those cold showers very much. Air conditioning was super and helped alleviate the heat. Cristina was responsive and helped us navigate the restaurant scene with her recommendation. Loved our stay and we would stay again!

Perfect Visit

This was the perfect apartment to explore the city of Florence and the surrounding area of Tuscany, Rome and Venice. The owners were wonderful to work with and had some great recommendations for us around Florence. We would certainly stay at this apartment again and will recommend to friends.

Perfect Central Location

Our group of five seniors enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in central Florence. The location is perfect for exploring all of the must see sights in Florence all within walking distance. Cristina was a great host.

Amazing apartment and managed so well! The location was perfect and a 10-20 min walk to wherever we wanted to go. Apartment was super spacious, very clean, and updated. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning units in every room. Host was professional, very helpful and gracious. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Conveniently located and pleasant apartment

Overall the stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Location is very convenient to many tourist spots and especially worthwhile for anyone considering taking the train. Surprisingly you can hear late night time noises from outside. There is one quirkiness about this building...after getting off the elevator, there is another 20 +/- steps to the top floor where the apartment is actually located...so be ready to haul your luggages (^^)

Nicely appointed, well located

Our group of 4 adults and 4 children has the good fortune of staying here for 3 days and were so pleased with the accomodations and central location. The air conditioning was cold and freshing after the heat of Florence, and the top floor views from this apt were wonderful. So close to Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, train station, Mercato Central. We highly recommend this apartment! Beds were comfortable, and the apartment was well appointed with new Ikea furnishings, including a washing machine. Three bathrooms were all very nice, although there was no tub.

Wonderful apartment

We spent Christmas here this year and had a wonderful time. Our family of four (two college age kids) spent our Christmas in Florence. It was the first time we were not home for Christmas but we felt right at home at this apartment. We had plenty of room to spread out. The location is perfect, very close to the train station and walkable to all the major sites. The neighborhood is great with lots of good places to eat. And communication with our hosts was easy and efficient. They took very good care of us. We particularly loved the rooftop views of Florence and the light it provided to the apartment. We highly recommend this property.

Wonderful on all fronts

Wow!! What a beautiful place. We stayed at this wonderful apartment for 3 nights and loved every minute. From the spacious living area, a well appointed kitchen to the beautiful bedrooms and comfortable beds. We traveled with another couple so there were 4 adults and the apartment could have easily accommodated 2 more. The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated with just the right touch to make us feel at home. Cristina is a great communicator that made it easy for us to check in and out and she was available for questions during our stay. Prosecco and water upon our arrival was also a special touch that made us feel welcomed. We will be back :)

Very comfortable apartment in the heart of Florence - as long as you don’t mind climbing stairs

This apartment is 10 minutes walking distance to all the main attractions and from the main train station. Can’t beat the location. There is also a grocery store just around the corner and an ATM machine and plenty of restaurants. The owner was super polite and helpful and welcomed us in person to explain everything. The rooms are comfortable but the showers are very small for U.S. standards (average for Europe). The only downside is that you need to do some stair climbing to get there - the total number of steps is around 90 but most of it can be avoided by using an elevator. Also if someone has a fear of heights getting to the top floor can be a bit scary. So overall a great apartment in a great area but not for everyone. We would stay here again.

Rooftop haven in the heart of Florence

Cristina was an absolute pleasure to have as a host. She met us right on time and showed us around the lovely apartment. The property is very spacious and full of light. Each of the 3 bedrooms had plenty of storage, comfortable beds and charming décor. The kitchen/ dining area is absolutely stocked with everything you might need. Cristina also provided bottled water and a lovely bottle of prosecco. She was always quick to respond to any questions we might have. The lounging area is a cozy bright spot with huge windows that open to let in fresh air and the sound of church bells. There are some extra stairs you will need to climb to enter the apartment, but even with our heavy bags we were able to navigate them without too much effort. The neighborhood is charming and very easy to reach from the train station. I highly recommend this spot for any length of stay in Florence.

Absolutely perfect place to stay

TOP ROOF PALAZZO DEL MARCHESE was one of the best apartments I have ever rented. It was perfectly located near all the main attractions in Florence, an easy walk to the train station, and is as beautiful as the photos presented. Antonio and Cristina were available, informative and communicative, quick to respond to our needs. They personally greeted us and showed us around the apartment. The apartment was clean, well stocked (even a bottle of Prosecco and coffee). Plenty of nice dinnerware and pots and pans, coffee maker, blender, etc. Check in was easy and as far as security it was the best I have ever experienced. You pass through three locked entrances to get to the apartment. If you follow the rules you should not have any concern about your safety or valuables. Also, you have many trattorias, cafes and restaurants right outside of the building. It was clean and comfortable. We had 5 adults staying there and had plenty of space, seating, hot water and beds. I would definitely stay here again while in Tuscany. Also, we hired them one of the days to take us to winerys in Chianti and San Gimignano and were very pleased with their services.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!

We were robbed at this apartment!!!! There was a third set of keys downstairs that criminals gained access to! Police said there is a very bad gang in this neighborhood and we were lucky it was only theft!!! Owner offered ZERO HELP besides going to police with us. Unfortunately the insurance we have won’t cover our $5000 worth of loss. Cell phone, iPad , jewelry souvenirs , etc…. VRBO said it was owner’s responsibility and owners refused to help cover cost - and we did NOT ask for $5000 just partial rental money back to help us purchase new items to replace ones stolen. Nice unit but don’t expect any help from owners if there is a problem!!!!!

This apartment exceeded all expectations. The owner greeted us at door when we arrived, and was extremely responsive to any questions or dinner recommendations. The rooms were large and comfortable. If we return we will stay here again.

Excellent stay

We were 5 adults coming to Florence to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. We couldn’t be more pleased with this property and the host. The property was beautiful, spacious, in an excellent location and was very clean. Our host thought of everything when preparing the property, from having ample supplies of essential items to having a manual that explained how to operate the washer - which was very much appreciated. We would highly recommend this property and will make sure to return to it or one of the other properties that the host manages when we return to Florence. Thank you for helping to make our vacation a wonderful experience.

Amazing spacious home

Excellent location for this comfortable, gorgeous and spacious home. Comfy beds and plenty of room to relax after exploring Firenze or Tuscany.
