The location is amazing for both the views and for being centrally located to many different things to do in Florence. Our hosts were very fast to respond with anything we nedded and provided us with a list of restaurants recommendations and ideas of places to see.

Turn left out the door and the Duomo is a very easy walk. Turn right and just down the quiet street are great restaurants. Across the street is an old convent now a school with a hidden-away restaurant which is quite good. Really, 5 stars do not do the apartment justice and most certainly are not enough for the service and hospitality of hostess Laura.

We had a great time here. Laura was an excellent host. Very helpful. The apt was nice and close to all attractions, walking distance. The patio was very pleasant for drinks at night or coffee in the morning. It did get a bit noisy at night with nightlife folk yelling on the streets, hence the 4 stars.

The apartment was beautiful and had a great centralized location. It was a wonderful view, it had everything we needed, and Laura and Gabriel were excellent hosts. They were easily available for anything we needed, they had excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the city, and they made us feel very welcomed. This location was awesome. The Duemo was 1 block away. He hosts were fabulous and we would highly recommend this place. Our flight was late and the hosts were very gracious in meeting us late and showing us to a dinner close by. If you are looking for a centrally locates and clean place this is where you should stay.

Well maintained apartment in a great location

We stayed in this location for five nights, and really enjoyed our time. The apartment was well taken care of, clean, and in full working order. It has a tranquil and peaceful terrace off the back that is great for just hanging out for a break from the city itself. The host was more than generous with their time upon check-in. She took the time to show us local restaurants that she enjoyed and a local market that she recommended if we wanted to get anything for our stay. The location itself is incredible. Every time you walk in/out the door, you can see the Duomo, and all of the areas of central Florence are within easy walking distance.

Our family had such an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment. Just as all the reviews say, Laura is the best and warmest host. She greeted our family, took us to an amazing restaurant for our first dinner, and genuinely cared and looked after us during our stay. The apartment is so spacious, clean, amazing location, and has all the amenities you would ever want. We can't wait to go back to Florence and to also see Laura again :)

My son and I stayed at this property and could not have been happier! The charming owner, Laura, was incredibly kind and even tried to find crutches for my son, who was injured. The apartment was roomy and lovely. It had everything we needed. It was extremely well located in the center of Florence, but it was not noisy because it was on a fairly quiet street, near a library. What was also wonderful was the pleasant terrace. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough!

Wonderful apartment

We stayed eight nights and loved. It’s exactly the type of property I would want to own and live in. We walked out of the building to a street view of The Duomo and were within 15-20 minute walks to all main historic sites. Our hostess greeted us as we arrived and got us settled in. She responded quickly when we had a problem with the bathroom and made sure we had our taxi reserved and on time for our departure. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Florence.

The location is outstanding. Everything is walking distance. The apartment is spacious with a wonderful balcony. The hosts are amazing. They gave very useful travel tips. Coming and going. We had trouble securing a taxi big enough for our luggage so my wife and son went in a taxi and Laura’s husband gave us a ride to the train station. We would stay there again for sure. If this apartment is an available, book it now.

Well equipped and ideally located

We spent a very enjoyable week at this delightful apartment, which is well equipped and ideally located. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room are effective and quiet.and the terrace includes plenty of optional shade from a parasol and electrically operated awning - a real boon in hot weather. The Duomo is 200 metres away and the Uffizzi and Accademia galleries, Santa Maria Novella, the Medici chapels and Santa Croce are within a kilometre. There are supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants with excellent food in easy walking distance. We can strongly recommend the apartment.

We love to travel and meet new people. We live in Florence, not too far from Oriuolo Street.

The location allowes you to visit Florence without any difficulties, enjoing to be near to all you "must" see in town!
The apartment lets you feel like to be at home: paintings on the wall are belonging to the family and some made by my husband's father.
So an important part of us, of our feeling and way to live is reflected in Oriuolo apartment.

What makes this property unique

The terrace it is really a PLUS: it offers you a quiete place where you will relax enjoing the sun and that special feeling that only in some hidden corner of Florence you can still find: for me listen to the birdsong and the bells of the Duomo having a nice cup of coffee!
Besides the new small LIFT( not suitable for wheellchair) is an important innovation in an historic building in the full center of the city.
The location wich is unique near to the Duomo, museums, shopping area. etc.
