Moose Creek Lodge, an exquisitely decorated cabin, welcomes you with its cozy THREE-LEVEL, open floor plan with a brand-new basement.

A luxurious feel in a rustic environment surrounded by modern conveniences amidst high-end furnishings awaits you: comfortable leather couches and locally hand-crafted furniture, 3 plush suites, 5 large screen smart TVs, including a curved 60" TV, and 3 full baths. Enjoy beautiful tongue-and-groove ceilings and exposed beams, Australian cypress wood flooring, and a towering fireplace in the main living room featuring Connor, our 30-year-old endearing moose head.

MAIN GREAT ROOM/KITCHEN/DINING – The main level is completely open with a great room, kitchen, dining area and backdoor opening to a screened-in deck to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. The great room boasts a floor-to-ceiling stacked boulder fireplace in the center of a vaulted timber ceiling, perfect for relaxing with upscale leather sofa and chair, gas logs and 60" curved screen smart TV. Modern, fully-stocked kitchen with high-grade granite counter tops and brand-new, top-of-the-line appliances, including a gas range. The kitchen has everything you would need to create memorable meals and dining experiences – from glassware to cookware and kitchen gadgets, nothing has been left out. The massive rustic farm dining table accommodates 8 and the kitchen island an additional 3. On the upper deck, adjacent to the screened-in section, you will find a Weber gas grill and outdoor dining table with chairs.

Main floor MASTER SUITE - Our master suite on the main floor features a plush king bed with an exquisite headboard made by a local artisan, 55" flat screen TV, authentic trim and luxury furnishings to create a look only found in the finest of custom resort homes. The ensuite master bath boasts a jetted tub and a hand-poured glass vessel sink.

In the UPSTAIRS loft you will find a second equally luxurious suite with a plush king bed, 50" flat screen smart TV, seating area with a cozy double sleeper sofa and a full master bath with bathtub/shower combo.

The newly-finished BASEMENT boasts an additional spacious great room with a luxurious Italian leather sectional, 60" flat screen smart TV, two bunk beds, intimate custom reading nook, a laundry room, upscale slate full bath with plenty of shelves and another upscale private bedroom with a plush queen bed and 55" flat screen TV. The back door opens up to an expansive separate deck with its own patio furniture.

Moose Creek Lodge offers plenty of space for families on three living levels with two levels of private expansive decks and upper screened-in porch and patio furniture on both levels. You are also welcome to grab a book or drink and sit on the front-porch Adirondack chairs.

Amenities include ultra high-speed internet (up to 600 Mbps), Wi-Fi, five large top-of-the-line smart TVs, full-sized, high-efficiency washer and dryer and a Weber gas grill.

Moose Creek Lodge guests are in the middle of it all within close proximity to Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. Guests have quick access to Hawksnest snow tubing and ziplining, Otter Falls Trail, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain and countless all-year outdoor activities are just a few minutes away.

We enjoyed our long weekend at Moose Creek Lodge! The house was conveniently located and a short drive to all of our favorite spots (Hawksnest, Grandfather Vineyard, Beech Mountain, etc). The snow was amazing, and our kids thorougly enjoyed sledding down all the hills and roads around the neighborhood. The gas fireplace kept us cozy and warm all weekend, and it was so convenient to have a crockpot with a ready-to-go hot meal after snow tubing. All of the sleeping accomodations were perfect for our crew, and it was nice to have different spaces to spread out and enjoy. We brought our own games, but the game cabinet selection was very impressive. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and very kind.

Moose Creek Lodge will not disappoint

Beds were very comfy and the cabin very cozy. We had lots of fun relaxing, Playing cards and taking in the sights and sounds of Valle Crucis, Grandfather Mtn and Banner Elk areas. Weather was beautiful Labor Day weekend; not far from Otter Creek Falls trail (which our two pups thoroughly enjoyed).

Beautiful home with lots of space to relax. Great location being close to Boone, Linville, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Very responsive owners. Weather during our stay wasn't the best so we greatly enjoyed the large cozy fireplace and screened porch. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place / cozy

Stayed here with our friends and kids for a short skiing trip to sugar mountain. The place was impeccable, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Location is very convenient, no more then 13-15 minutes from most amenities and sugar mountain. There was plenty of space for everyone. Cant stress enough how cozy and comfortable this cabin was. Would definitely come back.

Relaxing getaway

Spent a long weekend and did not want to leave! House was clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed walking our dog through the quiet neighborhood. Great Location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Moose Creek Lodge. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of a great hiking trail (Otter Falls) and several lakes in the area for fishing. Grandfather Winery is 6 minutes away by car, which was also fantastic! The finished basement creates a second living space with a TV and plenty of seating. There are mounted TV's in all living areas and bedrooms. The cabin worked very well for our adult family of 6.

The cabin is so nice, clean and well located.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Moose Creek Lodge. "Connor ", the resident moose, is amazing!! The beds are comfortable, the cabin clean and well stocked. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. The downstairs bunk room is a real plus ,the kiddos could spread out and play feeling like they had their own area. We would highly recommend. Be sure to walk the community for your morning work out!

The cabin was beautiful! I loved the rustic decor. Everything was as expected per the listing. Hosts were friendly and communicative. We went skiing at Beech Mountain while we were there. Location was convenient. Thankful it didn"t snow though as getting in and out would have been difficult for us city folk. That though is the nature of the beast when traveling to the high country. We would definitely stay here again.

FALL FAMILY GETAWAY

My family and I come every fall for the Wooly Worm Festival and we all agree that Moose Creek Lodge is now our favorite place. Everything was perfect! The house was so peaceful and quiet yet it was so easy to get to all the places we wanted to go (Banner Elk, Boone, Blowing Rock). The house was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and my girls fell in love with the basement. They stayed in the basement the entire weekend and had a blast. I highly recommend Moose Creek Lodge, we most definitely will be back!

Great stay but very dark

The property was clean and as described. It was comfortable and decently appointed. I would inventory the kitchen and make sure things are still there; spatula, working can opener etc. The house is also very dark. It’s hard to read a book at night due to the lighting. Some brighter lights would be good.

Beautiful Family oriented dog friendly

We were looking for a convenient, family oriented location near Appalachian to attend my son’s graduation and Mother’s Day. This location was more than perfect! It had everything we needed! My mother went with us and is handicapped. She was able to go with us and stay on the main floor. No stairs to battle, the master bed room, kitchen, living room and screened porch were all right there for her to enjoy. The basement was perfect for my other kids, sister and her family. Ample space down there and more beds than we needed. The loft was perfect for myself and my husband. 3 living areas, perfect for extended families. Our host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. This will be a definite return location for us. A 10 out of 10 in my book.
