About Charlene Ferry
I grew up in Miami Fla with my parents and 5 older brothers. I vacationed to So. Calif when I was 11 and decided then that that's where I wanted to live. I moved to Costa Mesa Ca. when I was 22 and went to cosmetolgy school. When I graduated I moved to Lake Tahoe for several years only to relocate back to So Ca. I now have two beautiful daughters and have owned Salon Indah in Belmont Shore for the past 18 years.
Charlene Ferry purchased this House in 2015
Why Charlene Ferry chose Palm Desert
My aunt and her husband lived in Palm Desert where I spent many years visiting with my mother, creating memories. As my aunt and uncle aged I spent more time helping them and taking care of their personal needs. When they passed they left me their home where I have kept my aunt Monique's beautiful paintings and her eclectic furniture and findings that she collected through her extensive travels. My mother Paulette was the younger, the two sisters who grew up in Donnelly Alberta, Canada on a farm where their parents were pioneers. My mother followed her husband to Miami where she was a dedicated mother to her 6 children while Monique perused her art career and traveled the world. The two sisters couldn't be more different and I would like to think I got my stability from my mother and my creativity and love of travel from my aunt. They were both incredibly strong and intelligent women who have influenced not only myself, but my daughters. I have enjoyed combining their style to create a beautiful, comfortable and unique home that reflects their personalities and styles. I hope you enjoy the Mon~Paulette, it's comforts and style as much as we do.
What makes this House unique
What I love most about our home is a late night swim and a cocktail poolside while listening to the music of the Rat Pack era. The view from the pool during the day overlooking the green golf course and the mountains in the background is something I never get enough of. It's is so quite and peaceful here, yet there is plenty to do in the complex as well as exploring around town. I love discovering new restaurants and vintage stores. When I am feeling ambitious, the hiking is perfect on a cool spring or winter day. Weather you are coming to relax or coming for the Palm Springs Film Festival, casinos, concerts, tennis or golf matches, modernism week, Joshua Tree, The Living Desert, star gazing, a tram ride to top of the mts. for the spectacular views, there is something here for everyone.

I was there for a weekend with some friends and our stay was very comfortable, the place itself is clean and well-maintained. The owner, is so friendly and attentive, she made our stay feel like home away from home. It's a great place overall, I highly reccomend it!
A very relaxing experience
Lovely little property! Loved being so close to the pool and club. Really enjoyed the fact that are no kids allowed. It made the trip very relaxing. All the amenities of home away from home.
Thank you so much Veronica, I am happy to hear that you had a relaxing time at the Mon~Paulette. You are welcome to return anytime.
We love staying here... It is conveniently located next to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and more! The house is clean, has unique decor and is across the street from the pool, golf course and club house.
Thank you, it was a pleasure having you stay at the Mon~Paulette. You are welcome anytime.
Perfect Desert Get-Away
We loved this house. It has so many thoughtful and beautiful touches. It is also very well-appointed, everything one would need to cook in house, but is also very close to all the nice restaurants and markets. It is especially wonderful if you like to golf because it is situated right on a golf course and also has three pools on the grounds. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for that perfect (and peaceful) desert get-away.
Thank you, I am so happy you enjoyed the Mon-Paulette and your month in the desert.
Comfortable Desert Home
We have enjoyed our stay in Mon-Paulette. It is bright and airy, very clean and well supplied. It has two patios so you can follow the sun or shade as you please. The home is filled with original art work. It is freshly painted with pleasing decor and the kitchen is spacious and equipped with newer appliances. The location is ideal, central to all the great activities the desert offers. The complex has wonderful facilities and the home is directly opposite the club house/restaurant, gym and and a lovely pool.
The owner was very accommodating and made the rental process easy.
We would highly recommend this home for a desert vacation.
Thank you so much for the great review. You were wonderful guest and took care of the home as if it were your own.
