All cottages PET FRIENDLY (except Yellowbox)with dogs allowed inside the cottage. . , River's Edge and Red Gum cottages have secure fenced back yards. We supply dog bowls, treats and Poop bags. Dogs are most welcome inside the cottage but we do ask they do not go onto carpeted areas, and do not sleep on the furniture or bedding.

The self contained cottages overlooking the Goobarragandra River in Tumut make Elm Cottage a magical destination for a relaxing holiday, just 4 hours drive from Sydney and 5 and a half from Melbourne.

Elm Cottage is set on 62 acres, with over 2 miles of river frontage and is a pet friendly property which takes you away from city life and helps you to slow down and enjoy nature at its own pace. It is your home away from home.

Enjoy a drink on the balcony and watch the sheep and cows meander past, take a stroll along the two miles of river bank, fish for trout, swim at our private sandy beach, and in the evening, with crystal clear skies, enjoy some stargazing, then curl up to sleep to the sounds of the river below.

Whether you're on your honeymoon, looking for a fishing, golfing or skiing holiday, celebrating a special occasion, on business, meeting up with family and friends or just looking for an unforgettable spot to relax and unwind, Elm Cottage provides the atmosphere to help you recharge your batteries.

THE COTTAGES

RIVER GUM cottage sleeping 7 ( AAA Tourism 4.5 Star rating) has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed with private ensuite and walk in robe, the second bedroom has a king bed, both of these rooms have sliding doors leading out on to the balcony and the third bedroom has a bunk bed and single bed.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave etc., separate dining room, lounge room with TV, DVD and CD player, limited Wi-Fi on request and docking station along with 3 bathrooms.

Reverse cycle heating & cooling, full bathroom with bath, and laundry with washing machine, dryer plus another shower and toilet. On your private balcony looking directly over the river, you have your own gas BBQ and outdoor setting.

RED GUM (AAA 4.5 Star Rating) - sleeps 4 adults, has a king size bed in the master bedroom with private ensuite and spa bath, and the second bedroom has two king single beds also with ensuite.

BLUE GUM (AAA 4 Star) - sleeps 2 adults & 2 young children, has a queen size bed and a bunk bed.

Full reverse cycle air conditioning, with TV, DVD, VCR, and CD player plus limited Wi-Fi on request. You also have a large balcony with BBQ overlooking the river below.

RIVER'S EDGE -The cottage was built in 1905 and is just 18 metres from the river. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and separate shower, ensuite bathroom with master bedroom, reverse cycle air conditioning in lounge room with TV, DVD and Foxtel. There is no Wi-Fi in this cottage due to poor reception.

4 bedrooms, two bedrooms with king size beds, one with queen bed and the third bedroom has a single bed. Laundry with washing machine and dryer.

A half an acre fully fenced back yard for your dogs to play in whilst you are out and about exploring the region.

Balcony overlooking the gardens and river, plus your own outdoor setting and BBQ. Campfire(firepit) close to the river for your enjoyment.

Yellowbox cottage (5 Star)has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The ensuite is a disabled designed bathroom and the main bathroom has shower and corner spa bath with separate toilet. The cottage has two bedrooms, that can be easily configured for with two large king beds that can be separated to provide for 4 single king beds. The cottage has a gourmet kitchen with dishwasher, microwave etc., plus separate dining room with seating for 10, lounge room with TV, (Foxtel Premium Package)and limited Wi-Fi on request. Full reverse cycle air conditioning and internal laundry with washing machine and dryer. A very large enclosed balcony with BBQ and outdoor setting with 180 degree views of the river below.
