Situado justo en el borde de Smiths Lake. Desde esta posición PREMIUM FRENTE AL AGUA, la casa mira hacia el lago y ofrece magníficas vistas desde la cubierta de entretenimiento y desde el área cubierta de hierba de abajo.

Un camino privado lo lleva a través del tranquilo arbusto que baja hasta el lago y la playa de arena. Kayaks (1x doble y 3x sencillo) y Tommy the tinny (bote de remos) se sientan para disfrutar. Recorra en fila hasta el pelícano o vaya en kayak hasta el banco de arena y nade en las aguas cristalinas de la playa Cellito.

Pasee tranquilamente por el borde del lago hasta el cercano "Café Espumoso" para un café con leche o un almuerzo. O mejor aún, relájese en el diván, disfrute de la vista y la abundante vida de las aves y no haga absolutamente nada más que relajarse Te lo mereces !!!

LA CASA

La casa es de dos pisos y está amueblada con buen gusto con un toque contemporáneo. Un montón de luz y excelentes vistas al lago o arbusto cuentan desde cada habitación. El alojamiento consta de 5 DORMITORIOS, 2 COCINAS, 2 BAÑOS, 2 ÁREAS DE ESTAR Y un ENORME ENORME ENORME con vistas al lago.

IDEAL PARA: una familia, dos familias o amigos a quienes les gusta pasar las vacaciones juntos pero que también disfrutan de cierta independencia y momentos de privacidad.

UPSTAIRS - 3 habitaciones (2 Queen, 1 literas), cocina, baño, sala de estar y una espaciosa terraza de entretenimiento.

DOWNSTAIRS: 2 habitaciones (1 Queen, 1 Double Bunk), cocina, baño, sala de estar y área de césped sobre el lago.

UBICACIÓN

Menos de 3 horas al norte de Sydney entre Seal Rocks y Forster.

Pacific Palms es un paraíso natural rodeado por el lago Wallis, el lago Smiths, Myall Lakes y el Océano Pacífico. Esta área cuenta con playas vírgenes aisladas y parques nacionales. Great place and is ideal for a large family or teens who want their own space. Peaceful, Great Lake views through the trees. Access to the water is steep but as long as your mobile you should be fine. Great fishing/swimming area and beach area at bottom of the property. Kitchen is a little aged and no dishwasher but was well appointed with an abundance of all the required utensils, plates, glasses and appliances. Great place to relax and would recommend.

Great tree top lake access

Great for two families holidaying together with separate living spaces upstairs & downstairs. Excellent view of lake through trees. Steep walk down to access beautiful lake but manageable. In the house no fuss living with basic kitchen facilities.

Nice Property but wouldn't return

Lovely spot, great location and views. Plenty of room. However kitchen is dated. You have to clean and vacuum before you leave the property and there is a $1000 bond. Enjoyed our stay but won't return - have stayed at better.

This review is a little misleading. "On the Edge" has always appreciated that guests go on holidays to relax. On departure we provide a 4 hour clean at no additional charge to our guests. We have been providing a beautiful & peaceful holiday destination over the past eight years & have enjoyed having many wonderful guests stay. We appreciate all guest feedback which enables us to maintain a high level of standard. The truth is this review relates more to an issue of damaged to property caused by Sarah's Rottweiler dog & her reluctance to accept responsibility. Our previous experience with guest & their pets has been fantastic. Thank you.

Lovely position & stunning sunsets!

The location and outlook from this house was amazing, stunning sunsets most nights! Everything was neat and tidy but the rooms & living spaces (indoor) were smaller than expected for two families to share the house. The deck area was however very spacious with big table & bbq which was lovely. The kitchens are also an older style kitchen with no dishwasher. The driveway is not sealed and very steep so I would recommend only 4WD type cars use it. The owners were extremely accomodating & the set up with all kayaks down at the lake was fantastic. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A revisit 15 years later …

I didn’t realise when I booked that we had stayed here exactly 15 years ago and not much has changed. This is reflective of Smiths Lake fullstop. Time stands still here. The house is not luxury but more than adequate … it has everything we needed. Adult children enjoyed having their own downstairs - it needs a bit of an air but is fine otherwise. Upstairs has the spacious balcony with the best day bed that is in the shade in the afternoon. We brought a bit of Trill and the birds kept coming early morning, late afternoon and the brush turkey cleaned up any remnants. The cicadas were unseasonably loud - an experience. The kayaks, life jackets and kayak seats are all in good condition - we used them almost daily. There are two tracks to the lake - a goat track and an easier ‚easy‘ track k - not too strenuous at all. There is no air con but plenty of fans and the Louvre windows help catch the cool breeze. Even on the hottest days the house cooled quickly. This was our fifth stay in Smiths Lake and we can honestly say On the Edge is best value for money. Add Jackie‘s outstanding communication and you’ve got yourself a great place to stay.

Family getaway

Had a great weekend in Smiths Lakes celebrating my dads 50th. Great location, kids had so much fun on the lake using the kayaks provided. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful lakeside location

- Location of the house is beautiful. Right by lakeside, with direct access to Lake and gorgeous sunset views. - - house has quite a few kayaks and life jackets suitable for all ages. kids loved it. - Great fishing spots nearby - pictures on Stayz.com.au are not accurate and recent. - house is not suitable for families with dust and mold allergies. - Spider webs inside the house - all fans , furniture and balcony timber deck needs nice deep cleaning

Lovely house on the lake

We went there with a couple of families. The property was beautiful and perfectly located next to the lake. The lake access was easy. The amenities provided were excellent. Lots of kayaks to play around with. Well stocked pantry. We had lovely days by the lake. Cooked up delicious meals in the kitchen and bbq. No wi fi though and phone reception is poor on most networks. The rooms needed a bit of airing out, might have been shut for a while. Great stay overall and great communication with the host. Thank you Jackie

Great location

Clean, well appointed and room for all (family of 5). Great location. We had a nice stay. Would have been nice to know there's no internal staircase to the downstairs bedrooms, however. This was an issue due to the inclement weather we had. Owner communication was excellent.

Super relaxing!

What a wonderful place to get away from it all! We had 2 families staying here with more than enough room for everyone to spread out and find space. The hammock was highly prized by both adults and children, particularly being in the shade during the heat of the day. Kayaks were used constantly and I hope the neighbours didn't mind too much the sounds of children enjoying themselves in the water! The wildlife were so friendly and my husband even had the birds eating out of his hand! Thank you so much. Already thinking about a return visit!!

Lovely home in a beautiful location. Very clean and well appointed. Great spot for lakeside relaxing, walking, kayaking. Frothy Coffee shop great local cafe just down the road. Perfect for large groups
