A great place for a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Close to the beach for rejuvenating walks on the sand, and within easy walking distance of many interesting spots, giving you a chance to burn off the holiday calories. The house is just brilliant - so well equipped and well maintained. And it is in a quiet area; even during the peak period it is away from the crowds that flock to the beaches. This holiday convinced us of the attractions of Ventnor.

Wonderful for MotoGP

Lots of space and easy to use property. We were attending MotoGP so not around during the day. A great place to cook dinner, relax and sleep. Check in was easy and comms excellent.

Amazing property and owners

Can’t recommend this property enough! Owners are so thoughtful with lots of little touches like putting up the baby gate for us and toys for the kids in the bath and on the beds. Left a welcome treats for us which were amazing after a long drive. Lots of things we forgot to get shopping already there for our convenience like sauce and oil, spices etc. house was immaculate, great view from the decking of the beach during the day and stars at night and is a stones throw from the beach! Best part for the kids was feeding the bird with the seed provided by the owners. Would go back in a heart beat!

Fantastic. Home away from home.

Our stay was for a short 5 nights and we could have easily stayed for longer. We were looking for a house that would cater for a family of 4, a friend and an old dog and the house was perfect. The location was ideal for us, away from the business of Cowes, walk to the beach, quiet. Howard was very accommodating with a couple of changes to our booking and understanding of a couple of mishaps. Would highly recommend.

Home away from home

We booked for 10 days and brought a heap of stuff with us such as condiments, movies and games.. These were not unpacked as everything and more was provided by the hosts.. Even left us a welcome pack with snacks and wine.. Best holiday house setup ever.. Will be back.

Peace, comfort & wildlife..loved it!

If you like to look at rainbow lorikeets, wattle birds and cockatoos enjoying the trees or to watch bunnies and wallabies nibbling on the lawns, this is the place for you. In the middle of summer, some of which was on a weekend before Australia Day, we didn't hear a single voice, only the occasional car slowly making its way past. So quiet! So perfect. The house itself has everything you could possibly need and the owners were kind enough to grant us a late checkout. There was a gift basket on arrival and all those little extras (which are annoying to not have) like shampoos, soaps, serviettes and tissues were there too. We are going back ASAP.

Thank you to Howard and Sue for this beautiful accommodation. Our family comprising Grandad, two kids (6 and 8) and two dogs had a brilliant time. The house is gorgeous, clean and has everything you need. Howard and Sue left us a goodie basket, fabulous directions to the house and to nearby beaches, and didn't mind when I lost the keys on the first night. Highly recommended. We'll come back again over winter to enjoy the fireplace.

Well this is a holiday house worth staying at. Great location close to beach and local shop.Very quiet location which is great for busy time of year. We felt right at home with this holiday home . Everything you need was supplied as from toilet paper to cleaning products it was there. We loved it that much we are coming back at Christmas/New year for longer. Thanks Howard & Sue for a wonderful place to stay.

I can only reiterate what the other guest reviewers have said - to start with the owner was such a delight to deal with even going to the extent of providing a kennel & drinking bowl for our furry friend. The fact that we could take our dog made for a perfect holiday for us. The kitchen is fully equippped inc decent cleaning products, the house is immaculate,modern, comfortable & so spacious with the downstairs area. We enjoyed the deck every night, & couldn't get over how quiet the area was (even on New Years Eve). We rode our bikes to the beach, & enjoyed a stroll every morning. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. Thx so much Howard & Susan for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

We could not have been more impressed! Every little detail in the house was spot on, they had thought of everything. The place was immaculate, the views and deck were great for an evening relax with a glass of wine, luxury with the big plasma tv and surround sound and plenty of DVDs to choose from. The owners were also great to deal with, they couldn't have been more accommodating. A great part of Phillip Island away from the crowds and the beach 2 mins away. We will definitely be back.

On first entry to the house, we were taken back as to how new and clean it was, it was a delight to stay there, there was no effort at all to feel right at home. By far the best accomodation I have stayed at. Owner was a pleasure to deal with. Will definately be returning soon.

'Fussy' is my second name but I could not fault this house. Lovely view over the trees to the sea from the return balcony. Spotlessy clean, generously presented with lots of little extras eg tea, coffee, biscuits, tissues, a few pantry basics and lots of proper cleaning products. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you needed to cook easily. We really felt that we wanted to take care of this property as it is clearly much loved. The owners were a delight to deal with and we will be booking this house again for next year.
