About this property

Pet friendly, walk to beach, cafe, parks, Netflix provided

Sunset Retreat offers a comfortable, peaceful getaway within easy walking distance (250 metres) to the beach. The property has a large lockable yard and welcomes well behaved pets.

For year round comfort, the house has a split system unit for heating and cooling, a gas heater as well as column heaters and fans in the bedrooms. There are board games, PlayStation 2 with games, Netlix, WIFI, cricket bats, soccer balls and various other toys to entertain all age groups.

The full well equipped kitchen includes extras such as a sandwich press, wok and electric blender. The sheltered outdoor deck next to the kitchen has a full size gas BBQ.

The large backyard is ideal for pets or kids to play or to just relax in . It is fully fenced and can be securely locked. There is a very large shade sail with a second outdoor table setting.

When staying at Sunset Retreat, enjoy early morning or evening walks along the beach, accessible from the beach entrance at the end of the street. No need to hop in the car to visit the beach, just turn right out of the front gate and walk to the end of the street to the beach entrance. Dawn Cafe and the Ocean Grove Hotel are conveniently located within a few minutes walk, while the main shopping strip and patrolled beach are a short drive away.

Sunset Retreat can comfortably sleep up to 6 people in its 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a single bed, a set of bunks and a TV and a Playstation console. All beds are fitted with electric blankets. If a toddler will be staying, please let us know so that we can provide a high chair and porta cot.

Doona, doona covers, tea towels, bath mat and hand towel are provided. Beds will be fully made with sheets and pillow cases, guests only need to provide bath towels (if travelling from interstate they can be provided).

If a pet will also be staying, please advise the breed and whether your pet is an indoor or outdoor pet. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate cats.

A fabulous find. Scrupulously clean, extremely comfortable, had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The yard and outdoor areas are also very well thought out. Clean shaded decking with comfortable seating. A lovely cubby house with a slide for kiddies, a safe secure yard for our dogs. Five minute walk to beach and cafe, 5 minute drive to main shopping precinct. Highly recommend this property.

Best dog freindly stay

Best getaway with my partner and doggies. So close to everything to restaurants, beaches and golf courses. The house was super clean and had everything that you needed. Hope to come back andstay again. Thanks to the hosts for sharing their beautiful holiday home.

Perfect Weekend Away

We had a fantastic long weekend in Sunset Retreat.The back garden was the perfect place for our little fella and dog to play in. The location is minutes walk to a nice cafe and beautiful beach. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Relaxing Getaway

We really loved our stay at Sunset Retreat. Dianne was fantastic in communicating with us and ensuring that everything was set up for our family. The backyard space was definitely a highlight for our 4 year old son. Would highly recommend for couples or families looking to get away for a few days.

Ocean Grove Ocean Stay

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful property just minutes walk from the beach in Ocean Grove. Everything was clean and tidy inside and out and the kitchen was fully equipped to allow you to eat in if you want. Bedrooms were spacious and it’s a quiet neighbourhood that’s easy to get to. Highly recommended.

Comfortable family home

This property was just what we were looking for. It was well appointed - everything you possibly need in the kitchen - and comfortable for our party of four adults and a dog. The yard is roomy and would be great for kids or summer entertaining. Hosts were great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Lovely family friendly holiday home

We had a lovely stay here. Fantastic for families. Great backyard with a cute cubby house; slide and play boat with 2 lovely outdoor sitting areas. So pleasant. 5 minute walk to a cafe and beach. Pub up the road. Short drive to shops. 3 spacious bedrooms. It was great to have a slection of board games and toys. We had a great time revisting out favourite games. Great kitchen with everything you need. Spacious lounge with plenty of seating room. Everything was very clean. The spa bath was lovely too. 5 stars.

Absolutely perfect

Thankyou so much to Dianne for being an excellent host. Such excellent communication. House has been supplied with everything you could ever want. So much to see and all within 30minutes. Was fantastic to have our fur baby come away with us and be able to be in the house with us as well as the huge backyard. Loved the beach being so close. Looking forward to returning and sure will be our regular place to stay.

Family vacay in Ocean Grove

Absolutely amazing holiday home! Immaculate, everything provided for a comfortable stay. Huge back yard, perfect for kids and dogs to play and to sit outside to eat. Kitchen was well equipped for everything to cook and serve meals. Ample bedding options, with comfy bedding. Lots of toys and games for the kids. Perfect shower and spa bath. Great location for the dog beach and a short trip into ocean grove main beach and shops. Host was super friendly and accomodating with porta cot and high chair. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! Thanks you again xx

Sensational Sunset Strip!

Perfectly clean, neat & tidy! Very comfy beds, top quality pillows and donnas. We all really enjoyed the "Pooch-Perfect" backyard, beautiful outdoor settings with shade sails, trees and lovely cool green lawn. Easy stroll to beach, and shops nearby. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this gorgeous home. Thanks Dianne! :)

Wonderful property close to the beach

We had a brilliant time staying here. Great communication with hosts. Walking distance to the beach which the kids and dog loved. The house had everything we could need including games, toys for the kids and sand bucket/spades etc. Beautiful backyard with cubby house and basketball ring. Would definitely recommend
