Great spot to getaway. Good spaces to gather and well stocked kitchen as well as plenty of fun options for Up North fun. We had great weather but there was no AC (but many fans) so just be aware.

The Hideaway was the perfect getaway for our family of four and our dog! We loved taking nature walks along the trails and exploring the property each day. There was plenty of firewood for cozy bonfires, and renting the pontoon was a wonderful way to enjoy the peaceful, secluded lake.The two screened-in porches were perfect for playing cards and board games together. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with all the essentials we needed for cooking and enjoying our stay. One of the sweetest compliments came from our kids, who said several times that it felt like being at Grandma’s house!We made some wonderful family memories here and would highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

The place was beautiful and so well stocked and clean. We enjoyed going on the lake with the pontoon, so much fun! Our host even brought us turbo fans to make sure we were cool. So thoughtful and kind!

This was our 2nd family stay at the Hideaway. It was clean, cosy and very well stocked with kitchenware. The owners have supplied a lot of things we’ve had to go out and get at other properties. We had occasion to contact the owners a couple times and they were very easy to reach and helpful. This would be the first and likely only property I would pick if I were returning to the area.

Wow, what a perfect getaway to relax and build lasting memories with family. Very private, peaceful property. The place is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pontoon was fantastic. The lake was beautiful. Communication was excellent. We absolutely loved our stay at the lake cabin! Exceptionally clean. We appreciated having our two dogs with us. Wonderful host!

My family loved staying here! The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The lake was beautiful and we had fun exploring it by boat and peddle boat. The fishing was excellent and it was so nice to have a fishing boat. We used the gazebo and the cabin porch quite a bit. Everything was so well thought out for this place and it made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The property was quiet, private and very peaceful. We saw lots of wildlife. The host was great answering my questions in a timely manner. Thank you so much- we hope to come back next summer and stay longer.

My family had a wonderful time at your property. Everything we needed was available. We enjoyed the trails with our dog, fire ring, fishing from the pontoon rental and kayaks to name a few of our favorite activities. We saw turtles laying eggs, loons, swans, lots of deer and just down the road we saw a timber wolf in pursuit of a deer. We highly recommend this property.

Nice large home. 3 bedrooms plus a basement that can sleep a couple more. Big kitchen and screen porch. Lots of room for a family vacation.Quiet, private lake. Great fishing. Close to 4 wheeler trails.

We LOVE the Hideaway! This is the third time we have had our family vacation there! It is clean and well kept and being able to rent the pontoon as well is a huge bonus! We love that our dogs are allowed and we can walk with them on the trails on the property or the ATV trails. Coffee on the screen porch in the morning is my happy place!
