Yallambee Cottage Mulwala

Yallambee Cottage is a quaint comfortable house nestled in the forest on the murray river, the perfect location for a quiet getaway.

The house is fully equipped with :-
* Two bedrooms with queen size beds,
* One smaller bedroom with double bed
* Two bathrooms, with toilets
* Undercover BBQ area
* Fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge, microwave
* Living room, TV, DVD
* Log fire in lounge room for heating
* Verandahs around three sides with outdoor setting.
* Linen (for Cottage use only) is supplied.

Yallambee Cottage has its own beach and is also ideal for fishing, canoeing, bushwalks or just relaxing.

The section of river would only accommodate small "Tinney" boats or canoes, with 4WD boat access only.

The property is located 10km from Yarrawonga/Mulwala with access to Golf courses at Mulwala, Tocumwal Cobram/Barooga and Corowa, wineries, lake and much more.

Beautiful spot, cute cottage, caring host

I stayed at Yallambee Cottage Mulwala with my dad. We thought it was paradise. Murray River flowing 60m from back door. John the owner is such a lovely person. He is very welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to come and stay again. Sitting on the back porch watching the birds was so relaxing. Just a tip for others, if you have trouble finding the entrance drive up the Rd another 1km or so. You will see the gate and a rather large sign at the entrance. Google maps took me to the wrong location on the road. Highly recommended stay if you like country style cottages in the tranquil bush 8min from town.

Peaceful time by the Murray

A quiet place, just above a sizeable anabranch of the nearby Murray. Cold in mid-winter, but once we worked out how to keep the fire going continuously with the unlimited supply of redgum we were set. The only sounds were of the plentiful birdlife. Very relaxing.

Dream property

Big, spacious farm house where we spent much time on the veranda listening to so many birds and gazing out over the bushland and Murray River offshoot. Kangaroos passed at dusk. So quiet. Blissful. Couldn't wish for a better property and location.

peace by the canal

We had a 2 night stay with friends. On arriving at the cottage it was not quite as photo in my opinion and a little unloved outside including the BBQ which we needed to clean before use.However we soon settled in on a hot day in December. The aircon worked perfectly, the lounge was filled with comfy furniture with a full glass window looking over the water. The deck outside was such a great place to sit and chat over drinks and a meal. Beds were super comfy too. Our host John dropped in for a chat too which was pleasant. All in all a peaceful and beautiful couple of days
