WANT TO EXPLORE THE SOUTH COAST?

Batemans Bay is a pretty coastal town, bordered by the Clyde River and surrounded by beautiful National Parks. The town is 120k from Canberra and a four-hour drive along the coast road from Sydney. There are daily bus services from Sydney and Canberra and an airport close by at Moruya.

There are lots of drives through the beautiful scenery of the south coast. Closer to home there are plenty of beach walks and bushwalks, markets at weekend at Moruya, Batemans Bay and Malua Bay throughout the month. There are lots of opportunities for all sorts of sport and interesting shopping centres around Batemans Bay for retail therapy. kangaroos at Durras, local fishing opportunities, oysters etc.. A rewarding day can be spent on a boat ride from Narooma to see seals on Montague Island. Mogo Zoo is an intimate and interesting experience. Visit Tuross, Narooma or drive even further for a day's outing.

Bay Pavilions, Batemans Bay offers indoor swimming and a theatre with regular shows.

For the health conscious, there is nothing like the morning walk along the beaches in front of the apartment. You can even walk to the shops at Surf Beach to get the paper, food and drinks. There are plenty of footpaths, including the new Coastal walk, showcasing our beautiful area.

Where is Denhams Beach?

The luxurious apartment is oceanfront with panoramic views over Denhams Beach which is 7 km south of Batemans Bay and is the first surfing beach from the Bay. It is ideally situated - a 4 hour drive from Sydney and 2 hrs drive from Canberra or Goulburn.

The south coast of NSW is very picturesque where townships and the ocean seem to blend in harmony, without city noise, traffic or a fast pace.

Denhams Beach is one of three adjacent beaches heading south where dolphins often play. Recognised as a safe surfing beach, the next beach is Surf Beach which is patrolled in summer. There is a small shopping centre at Surf Beach for the morning paper or general supplies The third beach is Wimbie Beach which leads to bushwalks to the point and through the National Park to the private treed haven of Lilli Pilli.

Batemans Bay has a small thriving shopping centre which manages to combine the modern plaza with buildings which reflect the town as it was many years ago.

What can we do?

Swim, walk the beaches and national parks, read, sleep in, explore the south coast by car. No driving to the beach, no carrying bags - just a towel and sunglasses and in 10 seconds you are in the surf. We have wifi, a smart TV with Netlix and books to read.

On Denhams is a rare haven away from the stress of modern living. It is hard not to relax while watching the ocean on the sunlounges on the enormous deck - or from the comfortable living area with its bifold doors to the ocean breezes. At night enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the canopy of stars.

Take a romantic walk around the beaches to cafes, a supermarket, bottle shop and chemist.

For the explorers we have many attractions including Mogo Zoo, Birdland, a cruise up the Clyde, a visit to old world Mogo. For the quieter holiday makers you can swim and surf, fish and walk the beaches and bush surrounds.

The south coast of NSW is very picturesque for short and long drives to small towns and communities up and down the coast. The area offers a number of national parks in the vicinity with opportunities for bushwalking or exploring by car.
