5 Star Lake House

We stayed during Thanksgiving. Check in was smooth. The house is one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, especially for it being an older house. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook for Thanksgiving. Plenty of extra trash bags, Ziploc bags, food containers. Plenty of extra toilet paper and it was good toilet paper, not cheap, toilet paper! (Yes, I feel like that is a big plus. Normally I have to pack my own toilet paper)Living room was very cozy and comfortable. Plenty of seating. Game room was lots of fun and so was the ping-pong table. TV in living room and game room only. Outside was just as nice. We didn’t go in the water, but it was very clean and clear. My son did catch two or three bass. He brought his own fishing pole, but they did have a few of their own in the garage. We saw a family out on their boat pulling kids on a tube and a few boats out their fishing.We never saw a gator, But where there’s water in Florida, you can bet there’s a gator somewhere! Gorgeous lanscaping and very private.We had a very relaxing Thanksgiving! ~Christine

The amazing Barn House

The barn house is an absolute Gem! Our family has had multiple vaccinations to this majestic spot. It offers a perfect variety for our family from the game room to an amazing back yard. Kayaking was so much fun with our kids and the lake is peaceful. Making s’mores around the campfire was our kid’s favorite. The host Garfield is a wonderful guy. He was always available for questions and he made sure our stay was perfect. Thank you Garfield!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful home

We enjoyed being able to visit with the kids and granvhildren. The home was beautiful and in a very peaceful neighborhood. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the house. There was a mileed pizze in the oven and dirty mildewed washclothes in the downstairs bathroom. I am sure they just wete overlooked. We had to go out and purchase more toilet paper and garbabge bags as there weren't enough in the house. The game room is not heated and was very cold. I realize that this year it is u ussually chilly there but wish there would have been provisions made so the kids could enjoy it without having to wear coats. I would gladly stay here again.

Perfection on the lake

Great location with a beautiful view of the lake. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The stairs were slightly steep for older people but were manageable. We had an absolutely delightful time.

Punta Gorda without the crowds

The hostess was very quick to answer questions. The house was appointed nicely and the hot tub was great after playing golf. Overall nice place to stay.

Lack Placid Barn House

This home was lovely. The home was clean and as described. All three bedrooms were upstairs. One bathroom downstairs and one bathroom upstairs. We were not able to use the kayaks, one of them was huge, for three people and the other was tiny, for a kid. Some of the oars were missing. The location was close to Lake Placid downtown area. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We would recommended this property for a peaceful and relaxing family vacation.

This is my second time staying at this cabins. Since last time I was there, nothing has changed. Super clean, organized and it has a lot of amenities to spend your birthday with your loved ones. If you are planning on stay, please stay at least 4 days.

Great place for a peaceful getaway

The barn is a great place to stay if you want to get away from everything and want some peace and quiet. The property is right on lake Henry where it was very peaceful and quiet for our entire stay. The house has everything you made need with two extra bedrooms for a large family to use if needed and a game room for kids. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful barn on the lake.

The Barn for People

We 3 generations of 4 adults and two boys ages 4 and 8 spent an enjoyable 4 nights in The Barn at Lake Placid. The Barn is spacious and well equipped for staying in place for meals, fishing, games & sleep. Thankfully for this handicapped 69 yr-old, the stand-up shower bath is on the main level with a sleeper sofa and futon. All 3 bedrooms and shower/tub bath are otherwise upstairs. When we rent again, we will take portable folding chairs for dock sitting or fishing. Do not waste your time or $$ eating @ sub par Jaxson's, where we anticipated a memorable anniversary waterfront meal, only to discover pitiful waterview and even worse food.

The Barn

Wife was upset no TV in bedrooms and no regular channels. Location was a little bit off beat and path. But was very clean and peaceful. Had a good time.

Family Reunion Stay

We rented this property for our annual family reunion. I have a cousin with a large home on Grassy Lake. This is where we spent our days but our nights were at the rented location. We enjoyed the layout of the house and beautiful yard. The game room was a great feature for the kids.

Beautiful location! great house!

The house was the cleanest house we have ever rented. The property was beautiful. The house was great so much to there games room, fishing. This would be so fun for your family we only had one of our kids with us and thought we would love to bring them all back. The only hard thing was it was central to everything but everything was at least 45 min away but the drive were so pretty
