Wonder place to spend 30 days. No question we would return. Very clean. Everything you would need at Little Sandpiper is provided. Location to the beach and Ocean Ave is great.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home, well appointed, great location but the Sanctuary’s representation does not do it just. Mid- month cleaning was a show up and leave with linens taken and not replaced. The refrigerator was reported to have a strong odor twice and nothing was done, it’s clean but something was left previously for an extended period to rot. The oven was left dirty as the microwave was not cleaned either. It's not the property that’s the issue, it’s the management company.

Thank you for your review. We apologize that your stay didn't meet your expectations and that the team at Sanctuary didn't meet your expectations. Your interpretation of the midstay clean is not correct however. The inspectors had come in to strip down the beds to assist the cleaning team which was coming shortly after, however you arrived back before the housekeepers had arrived and even though our team tried to explain it to you they said you were very angry and said you didn't want anyone at the house. Again, we apologize for issues you experienced but we did make an effort to correct things which you decided you were not interested in.

Good for beach walks

One of the joys of Carmel by the Sea is a morning walk on the beach and an evening stroll along Scenic Drive. This home is perfectly located, being just a few blocks from the beach. The home itself was super clean, and very stylish. The deck catches the mid-day sun and was where we sat to read or eat lunch. The kitchen is really well furnished with everything someone who enjoys cooking could need, more than just the basics. Evenings we would have a fire in the fireplace and watch tv from the comfortable sofa and chairs. The Master bedroom gets great light and has nice views out to the garden, deck and trees. The second bedroom has plenty of closet space but lacks the light or view. Sanctuary was very responsive when I needed them, and everything went smoothly. I would rent any of their properties again.
