Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Crane House Carmel"! This home sleeps up to 7 guests.
The Crane House is at a prime location within the coveted “Golden Rectangle,” and just two minutes to the beach and a few blocks from downtown restaurants, shops and small market in the village center. You could go for days without getting in your car.
The house occupies a bright corner lot and is surrounded by Live Oaks and a Redwood tree. This peaceful three-bedroom home is well-suited for a variety of travelers: families with children, a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a group of friends sharing a beach rental. This home has some equipment for infants and children: High chair, booster seat, Pack n Play, umbrella stroller, Sand toys.
Living Space
This home has classic Carmel charm updated with a contemporary vibe and features the original homeowner’s art as well as the art of her grandson, the current homeowner, including mid-century woodblock prints and photographs, many inspired by the California Coast. The living/dining area features comfy furniture placed near the candlelit fireplace (no burning) and a library of books. The sofa folds out into a queen bed. The Smart TV has an Amazon Fire TV Stick and the YouTube TV app for programming, or guests can log into their own streaming accounts. The home also features an Apple smart speaker system, “HomePod."
A set of French doors provides access to the patio and garden.
Kitchen and Dining
The remodeled kitchen is light and airy, with a counter-height island for informal dining, a modern gas range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator, and coffee makers. French doors and a wall of windows face the morning sun and a secluded patio area and yard packed with trees, ferns, camellias, and azaleas, perfect for lounging in the sun on warm days or by the fire pit.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Downstairs:
Bedroom #1 has a king-sized bed and TV. It is located next to the lower level full hall bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination.
Upstairs:
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and TV. It is located on the east side of the home and looks down onto the patio area and directly out into the garden and redwood and oak tree canopy.
Bedroom #3 has two full/double beds and is located on the west side of the home and thus offers a filtered, distant ocean view on clear days.
The upstairs full hall bathroom has a standing shower.
Additional sleeping option:
The living room has a queen sofa sleeper perfect for weekend guests.
A Miele washer and dryer are located in a downstairs hall laundry closet.

One dedicated off-street parking space is provided. Street parking is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
