our dog jessie felt at home on the property ,2 teenage boys were comfortable , well furnished and kitchen had every utensile you need with a nice big fridge/freezer, short walk to dog freindly beach.

Great location, everything you may need is supplied, clean and tidy and quiet place. Excellent getaway for family from 87-9 years old. Kids loved the games cupboard

What a delight!

excellant abode

with overseas vistiors we found abbey beach shack excellent. everything was nice and clean.. the beds were excellent and doonas superb 2 mins too the beach ( bit cool this time of the year but the visitors enjoyed it all hihg winds as well

Beautiful Home

This house is in a beautiful little spot. It's a very nice and clean home and perfect for our weekend. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone. Just up from the beach. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much

Good location

BBQ not clean. Two bathrooms does not mean one toilet and one bathroom, not enough for eight people. Tidy but not clean.

Hello Steve, sorry you were not happy, however the property is clearly advertised as 1 bathroom with 1 separate toilet so not sure how you came to the conclusion it has 2 bathrooms. Apologies if the BBQ was forgotten by the cleaner. This is our fault although the previous guest is supposed to clean it, we are supposed to check it has been done adequately.

The property was in a good location. However the house was poorly maintained, lamps didn't work, sofas had a strong smell and were grubby. Previous tenants had left toys lying around and general cleanliness was poor. Also found broken glass when we were cleaning up.

Great Location

Old property but everything you need is provided (just bring egg-cups if you're partial to a boiled egg!). Kitchen was definitely retro but functional. Heaps of games available, a cosy little TV room, outdoor area is lovely in the evening with possums for company, beds were comfortable. Only a few steps to the beautiful beach at the end of the road so location is great. BBQ looked a bit grime but we used trays so all good. We were five adults staying and the lack of a second bathroom/ensuite surprisingly wasn't an issue, shows how pampered we are at home :-) Overall, a great little house due to the location and we'd definitely go back.

Abbey Beach Shack

Lucky enough to get this home in the April school holidays. Located on a quiet street less than a minute walk from Abbey Beach, the house is an older style but has everything you need for a family holiday. And pet friendly too! Will be back for sure

Beachside bliss

I love this house! It’s not new and it doesn’t need to be because it’s comfortable and welcoming. Everything you need is in the house and shops and conveniences are just around the corner. The location is perfect and I can’t wait to visit again.

Great location. Everything available. Bunk beds a bit too dusty to sleep and very thin mattress on bunks, but otherwise other beds comfortable and house very functional.
