My wife and I had the best time. The penthouse was just as beautiful as the pics. Definitely loved it, will definitely be going back. Hopefully we can get the same place. Personal beach, gated community, safe, near all the local attractions and spots to eat. Had an issue, owner responded in seconds.

Wonderful property

The condo was clean and well appointed and was accurate to the description and the photographs in the listing. Great communication with property owner. The grounds at the Malibu Beach front location are beautiful. We had great weather and we always enjoy the culture in Loiza! We will book again!

Justo was great

Justo was a great communicator and the apartment was lovely. Neighborhood was not great. Loiza is a two lane road to San Juan and very hard to drive at night. Not near very many things. Gated apartments felt safe.

Relaxing

Beautiful condo. Very nice pool area. Not to crowded. Beach beautiful. I loved the shade trees and taking long walks. Quiet area. Good parking.

Near the beach, BUGS, and not an ideal choice for family vacation

This is our first trip to San Juan and we did not know the island well. We picked this rental because it’s near the beach and positive reviews from the past guest. Our experience however was not very good. The positives of this place are: near the beach，has community swim pools and in a gated community. Here are some issues we encountered during our visit: we received conflicting instructions from VRBO, Evolve, and the owner. With phishing scam so common now days, I prefer everything is handled through VRBO. On the day of arrival, we could not get through the gate by dialing the number supplied by the owner and had to tail another car into the complex. The owner use “WhatsApp” and we were not able to communicate until I downloaded the app. The automatic lock on front door did not work and we had to take out the battery and use the manual key box. The electronic lock will not lock the door but will unlock it and leave the unit unprotected. The hot water will shot off every 5-10min and we had to flip the circuit break each time. This unit also going through renovation and did not look the same as advertised. The AC control in the unit is also super annoying and will shut off if the bed room door is open. I understand the window control, but the door control is super annoying. There is also bitting bugs in the unit and we all suffered many bits on our legs and arms. This place is also pretty far from good restaurants (40 min from San Juan by car).

Excellent Experience

Condo had all the accomidations and amenities. Stayed in Puerto Rico many times , historically in the tourist areas. This time decided to stay in an area unfamiliar with. Host was very responsive to questions, offering recommendations for travel experiences and local food establishments. Traveled with family, which consisted of wife and two teenage boys. Great cultural experience, along with some of the nicest beaches, apparently not known by many tourist.Rain forest close by if you enjoy hiking. Great experience and highly recommended if you're looking to get away from the tourist traps.

Beautiful

The property was very nice, the owner was great and always in touch when needed. We were there during power outage on New Year’s Eve but the complex had power restored very quickly, the same day. Would highly recommend this condo.

An amazing place to stay!

This is an amazing property. The beach and pool are very close. It was very clean and spacious. The owner kept in contact with us throughout our stay which was nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Beach getaway

Our family had a most relaxing stay at the Loiza condo. The pools and beach were beautiful and private. We only ran into other residents occasionally. The condo itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We appreciated the energy efficient cooling and lighting systems. Our host, Justo, was most attentive and always helpful when we had questions. We hope to return in the future.

Amazing home away from home

This condo is amazing, has everything you need to live everyday like home. It’s set up so perfectly for a large family with children like myself, and everything is within half hour either direction on the beautiful coast line. The surrounding neighborhood is honestly not the greatest, but this is a gated community, so we felt safe the whole time, just avoided certain directions at night. We will be returning again as we absolutely loved it. Communication with the host was amazing before even arriving to Puerto Rico, and when we ran into one problem, he jumped right away to get it fixed! Excellent all the way around, thank you for having out family enjoy your home!

Great location

Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. The beach is right there only steps away from the condo. The pool though the water was not refreshing due to the heat that kept the water temp at around 85° was ok just not cooling. Overall if it was not for a couple of things I would have given this location straight 5s. Those thing being minor such as the ceiling fan in master bed room not working, the indows need a major scrubbing and cleaning, other then that all else was great, good size and space very well equiped with chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Over all if I could do so I would give this condo a 4.5.

Amazing Beachside Property!

This Condo in Loíza was a GEM. It’s a few hundred feet (walking distance) to one of the most beautifully secluded beaches on the north coast. The property itself was clean and FULLY stocked with everything we could’ve needed (sunscreen, bug spray, linens, beach chairs, surf boards, beach buggies, snorkel gear etc). The inside of the condo has floor to ceiling windows which made every day a delight. I loved that they had an awesome Ninja blender for our smoothies, plenty of cookware and seasonings…it felt like home away from home. Also, the beds were incredibly comfortable! Like sleeping on a cloud. I loved our stay, and Tito (our VRBO host) was so kind and communicative. Our initial flights into Puerto Rico were cancelled and he generously worked with our schedule. He was empathetic and only ever a text away. You will NOT regret staying at this VRBO. It’s close to everything, Old San Juan, El Yunque Rainforest, Beaches, Shopping, and dining. We found a Walmart about 15 minutes away for all of our grocery needs. The condo is located up three flights of stairs, so it might not be ideal for vacationers with mobility issues- otherwise this property is ideal! 😍

Nice condo

Our stay was great. Check in and check out process went well. Property manager was very responsive. Complex was nice, area around the complex was not great, but we still felt safe on the property and the beach.

Great property as listed!

We had everything we needed and as described in the listing. Host was very attentive throughout the entire trip. Being our first visit to Puerto Rico, we would most likely have chosen a location closer to San Juan. However, we could be in San Juan within 30 minutes, but still enjoyed a private beach and pool in Loíza. We were very pleased with our accommodations.

Home Away From Home

This place feels so inviting and is absolutely beautiful! The pools were perfect for our family, and the beach access was a minute walk from the condo. The owners are fantastic communicators and were beyond helpful. Would love to return. This was a true gem.

Easy beach access

The property was clean and very easy to access the beach. The host communicated promptly and answered our questions when they arose. It was a bit of a drive from things we wanted to do in San Juan but it was nice to stay away from the tourist ateas

Everything you need on a beautiful beach

The condo is equipped with all you need for cooking meals, enjoying the pool and beach. Lots of space inside and third floor patio made us feel at home. Property manager was super-responsive when we had questions. Good location about half-way between San Juan and Luquillo. Close enough to El Yunque and Fajardo to explore both in a single day.

Tucked away paradise.

This condo is located on the top floor of a well run complex. Great amenities, lovely decorations, and a 5 min walk to a wonderful beach. First floor has a spacious living area and 3 good sized bedrooms. It also has a fully functioning kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils. A spiral staircase leads to a bar/game room that has a large sun deck. It contained all the equipment you would need for a trip to the beach. The location is in the heart of Loiza. While it is not near many restaurants, there are many food trucks, street vendors and local bars with a lot of options. Be sure to make a day and head north and west along HW 187. We missed our chance, but there was great beach access and lot of places to eat.

Before renting making sure rooms are clear, beds made. Seems as though someone was their before us, beds were not made and food left in fridge. We also had to dispose of trash left in bathrooms. Overall the place was beautiful.

Great find and location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from beginning till end. Condo matches the description and the location was perfect to meet all our needs. Rainforest , old San Juan , airport , fajardo (bioluminescent kayaking )were all within an hours drive. Condo is well Maintained and kitchen though small was well equipped to meet our needs. Justo the owner kept in touch throughout and answered all our queries promptly, if we were to visit again some day will only opt to stay in Justo’s place!

Great Stay in Loiza Condo

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this condo. The photos of the listing are accurate and we found everything to be as described. The complex was lovely and well kept. The pool was nice and the quiet beach was just a stroll away. The condo itself was well equipped, there were plenty of beach towels and bath towels. There were also beach chairs, coolers, a beach cart, boogie/surf boards, etc. The full size washer and dryer were also very convenient. We usually had breakfast at home and were out for lunch and dinner, but the kitchen seemed to be equipped if you wanted to cook at the condo. The condo was comfortable and roomy. It felt like we were staying at the home of a friend. We liked the location of the condo for exploring the area. It was about 30 minutes to San Juan, about 30-40 minutes to El Yunque, 25 minutes to Luquillo Beach, and about 40 minutes to Fajardo. There's a lot to do or you can relax and not drive anywhere! Justo, the owner, was very welcoming, responsive, and available by text. Check in and check out were very easy. Justo answered questions about the condo, area restaurants, booking a BioBay kayak trip, and transporting the boards with our car. We did have some issues with the air conditioning units. Justo was responsive and sent the repair person several times, but it still a bit warm at times. The repair person was was scheduled to return. Fortunately we had beautiful weather and the ceiling fans worked well. Access to the complex overall seemed well controlled, and we felt secure and safe the whole time. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay there again. Thanks, Justo, for sharing your condo and helping us feel at home.
