The cottage is situated in the older part of Dunsborough and within easy walking distance of the beach and town. It has been renovated and set up and equipped for families and couples with a pet friendly garden so that the guests can have a laid back, relaxing and enjoyable beachside holiday. All the available facilities and amenities are clearly set out in the promotional material on the site. The house is professionally cleaned after each stay by my long term housekeepers who are excellent and I receive a "condition of property" report after each guest departs and so I was disappointed to read your comments on the cleanliness of the cottage as you moved in on Wednesday 7th January and twelve days after your arrival on Monday 19th January I received a message from you and I quote "house is lovely and garden exceptional" - if you were dissatisfied on arrival and had reported it to me I would have sent the cleaners back in immediately to rectify any issues that you had as I am always readily available to help anyone staying at Peppermints. As an overseas guest you may not be aware that creepy crawlies can sometimes be a nuisance and fly in but every effort is made to make sure that the cottage is cleaned professionally and ready for the arrival of new guests. Dear Shauna Thank you for taking the time to review the cottage. I think when you say general maintenance you are referring to the gutters on the back verandah - these are being fixed out of season and I have booked someone in for February. I have to rely on my housekeepers to let me know when the wood is finished but generally I dont order any beyond October as the weather is warm. Fortunately the garage down the road always has a supply should there be a cold snap and I will remember to put this in my information that I send out after October. Thank you for the heads up.
