Hampton stay

We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were perfect for our family. It did take time to learn to navigate the steep driveway and it was scary at first. We have excellent drivers in our family, so that wasn’t the problem. We were told upon arrival that our low profile vehicles would bottom out and we couldn’t take those down to the house. My mom can’t do steps and the guys had to carry her down in a wheelchair until we got the driveway figured out. Long story short, we would have stayed there anyway, but that driveway simply must be disclaim the property description, and it wasn’t. A couple other minor details: the owner was mostly very helpful, but close to check in time he took a vacation of his own and didn’t answer calls for a few days which made me nervous. The neighbors were noisy. But I can’t say enough about how much our family enjoyed the home and the trip. I highly recommend the property- just make sure you have able bodied guests (small SUV, truck and Kia soul all made it in and out fairly well).

Family Time

We really enjoyed the house after a few issues were fixed. We ight have been the first to use the equipment because the water "toys" needed cleaning. Gave us something to do while waiting for the rest of the family. Plenty of room and bathrooms. All inside was clean and neat. The pool table was fun and we did use the pickleball court. The pool did have some tubes to use. The paddleboat and Kayaks were used a lot and the swim to the white wall down the way was good exercise. The driveway was STEEP and daunting. Getting down to the house is not for elderly people that don't have sure footing. The EZDive into the cove was fun. We did have an accident that landed a granddaughter in the hospital for four nights. I left a note about a possible solution to the problem, but the owner never reached out. The caretaker was fabulous!!

Great Lake Weekend/Stay

The house was clean, spacious, and a great location for our event. Everyone enjoyed the updated feel and we had plenty of areas (two big living spaces and awesome pool deck) to hang out and enjoy meals. Highly recommend this spot!

Sam Fam Vacay Lake of the Ozarks

It was a perfect location! More than met our needs! We were able to boat, tubing, wakeboarding, fishing, floating on the lilyi pad and jumping off the platform at the dock! The dock was our families favorite place to be! We rented a tritoon boat from Captain Bob’s. Becky was awesome and easy to work with. We would definitely return to this house and highly recommend it to anyone thinking to come here! We had a family of 14 and it was very spacious. Nobody wanted to leave it was such a blast!

Family vacation

We had a great time at this property. Everything was clean and just perfect for all ages. Pool was cleaned every day and the manager was available at all times. We rented a boat and he delivered it right to our dock. The driveway is a bit steep but we got it figured out pretty quickly. Could use a few more bathroom towels but overall not a big deal. The view and location were absolutely beautiful. We made great memories and wished we could have stayed longer.

Perfect place to make memories

This was a fantastic trip! Everyone had a great time and it was relaxing. The property had everything we needed and so much more. The pool was wonderful along with a private dock that we would hang out on and swim. Bill has been very responsive and his onsite maintenance was eager to help or just answer questions. I would recommend this property if you are traveling with a group as we never felt overcrowded. We can’t wait to go back.

Great for large families

Upon our arrival we noticed a very steep driveway, that may be intimidating to some people. We had two cars parked there continuously. The others parked up above the house. We ended up having 18 people in the house and still had plenty of room. Most of the house was very clean. There were things, under beds and in the couches, left behind. Other than that, it was fine. Living furniture was very comfortable. Had a couple kids sleeping on them with no problems. Bathrooms were very clean and stocked with plenty of towels. They did have hand soap available. Instead of refilling them with new soap, when running low, they filled it with water to make it look full. Which sure doesn’t work the same. We just went and bought our own. Laundry room was very nice. There was some detergent left behind, but we had our own. Got used a lot! Most of the beds in the house were quite comfortable. The room with the twin beds was not the best. Furniture was broke and were very loud with movement. House had extra pillows, but could use more blankets. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. Had to go buy a few things, like a cheese grater, but otherwise was fine. It could definitely use more kitchen towels, cloths and definitely a broom/dust pan. We spent most of our time down on the dock, which consisted of many back-and-forth trips. There was a broken board, on the walkway to the dock, we were very concerned about our whole trip. The maintenance man was told, but nothing was done about it. We just had to remind everyone to step over it. The walk to the dock is very steep as well. Could use a railing of some sort to get down there. My 73 your mother fell down it:( The boat was not available, so we rented from Loto Boat Rental. We did used the kayaks and paddleboat, which were fun. Being in the cove was very nice, water wasn’t rough for water activities. Pool area was great! The kids spent most of there time in it. Plenty of pool furniture and towels. We did a movie night out there and had plenty of seating. There is a Wal mart close by, which was a good thing, because we made many trips there. Lots of cute little shops, food places and activities near by as well. All in all, we would stay here again. Had a great trip!

family vacation

The house was very nice. We enjoyed the pool and swimming in the lake. We rented the pontoon for a day and used the kayaks provided. The only issues were the steep driveway and several very noisy beds that made sleeping difficult.

Roomy house and Private pool was great

The owner Bill was great every time I emailed him with questions about the property prior to arriving. He was extremely quick with his responses. The location was very close to Dierbergs, bait shop and several other places which was super handy. The house was nice and extremely roomy. We had 19 people in our group at times during the week and we never felt crowded. It really helped having two refrigerators. The thing we loved the most was having our on swimming pool and the dock being so close for fishing. We enjoyed the kayaks. Unfortunately we did not use the paddle boat because it was pretty dirty and slimy inside of it. We rented JetSkis from a nearby marina. Would have loved to rent the Tritoon boat that was offered for rental with the house but you had to rent it for a full day. We asked about renting for a half day and was told full day rentals only which was unfortunate as we noticed it sat at the dock next to us not rented several days. We would have given this property five stars but there were two things we just couldn’t get past. The driveway to get to the house had an extremely steep 45° angle hill and steep stairs (15). Only one of our guest felt brave enough to drive down it with his car and he said never again! Our cars were loaded down and there’s no way we were going to try that steep hill. Would have been great to have been able to pull right up in front or in the garage to unload and load up the cars. Instead we pulled as close as possible to the stairs and made several stair trips. The other thing was the beds. They were all pretty hard and loud. All of our guest commented that their mattresses were extremely loud when they would turn over and would wake up others in their room. We also could not get any of the six sliding doors to lock which made us feel uneasy while sleeping. All and all the house was great. Probably would not rent this house again because of the driveway but they had a few other houses on the street by the same owner with not as steep driveway that we would be interested in renting.

A Great Family Getaway!

We certainly enjoyed our time in the lake, in the pool, and even rented their on property boat for us to take the kids tubing. Great place and would not be surprised if we are back next year!

Loved it!

We loved our stay. The house, and pool, and dock, and kayaks, and paddle boat were all great. We loved being able to rent the tritoon boat, and have it delivered to our dock one morning, and picked up again the next morning….so convenient. The location was excellent, beautiful view and sunsets!

Beautiful home, great for large groups

This location surpassed our expectations! The home was so beautiful, and the layout was great for large groups. Bill was great at communication, as well as Bryan who was on-call for maintenance. My family will definitely be back during the summer months to enjoy the pool because it was a little bit too cold for the time of year we went.
