Great place to stay when exploring Mudgee for the weekend. Peaceful, clean, well appointed studio with friendly cows in the paddock next door! Will definitely return one day.

Mudgee weekend

Lovely cottage with everything required for a great stay. Arnya has great knowledge of the region and was very informative and helpful with lots of tips on where to go. Our view from the cottage was amazing and we were lucky enough to see a full moon. Would definitely stay here again.

Really great place to stay. Lovely rural location but only 10 minutes into Mudgee. The property was really well presented with everything you would need. Bed very comfortable and living area relaxed and inviting. Highly recommend.

Wonderful retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Angourie Studio. The studio is very well equipped and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the delicious brownies and the wood set up for us in the fire pit. The studio is close to town and has a beautiful outlook. Arnya was very responsive and made accessing the property very easy. Will definitely stay again.

Our second stay and won’t be our last!

This was our second time staying at Anya and Ed’s place. Before we even checked in we felt welcome with Anya messaging us to confirm details like our milk preference. Throughout our stay everything felt immaculately clean and so homely. The location is amazing - close drive or walk to numerous local wineries and restaurants (though we found it hard to venture away from the stunning view that you have off the studio’s deck)! We will definitely be staying at Angourie anytime we visit Mudgee!

Home away from home

Angourie Studio was wonderful. It was a perfectly situated base while I explored Mudgee for the first time. I felt right at home! The hosts were thoughtful, communicative and generous with their recommendations. I could not recommend the Studio highly enough!

Peaceful escape

A terrific place to stay just outside of Mudgee. Feels like you’re a long way away from civilization but truly only a six or so minute drive to town . Well placed for wineries and restaurant options. We visited the Drip Gorge and the Putta Bucca Wetlands during our three night visit. Both were nice chilled and peaceful spots to visit if you enjoy nature. Many thanks to our host who was very helpful but ensured a feeling of privacy for guests. The accommodation was perfect for our needs with excellent facilities and a heap of birds visited during our stay too !!

An amazing stay

Arnya was an excellent host. Constant communication to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The property was on beautiful land with cattle and just across the vineyards. You also get to wake up to beautiful views of the mountains. The property is fully equipped with personal touches to make it feel like home. Arnya left amazing brownies and also yoghurt and strawberries in the fridge. The property is also in a very convenient area and very close to wineries. Will definitely stay again !

Perfect Studio

This is a beautiful studio, fantastically well equipped in an absolutely ideal location. Arnya is a wonderful host and the brownies on arrival were delicious!! The studio has two decks and a firepit outside as well as everything that you could want inside, including a coffee machine! We took our bikes and spent a day doing a cycling tour of local vineyards - the studio is right in the centre of loads of them! Absolutely wonderfully comfortable studio and a fantastic weekend - could not fault it at all.

Ideal spot to enjoy the wineries

Thoroughly enjoyed this well appointed, stylish villa amongst a paddock of cows! Was very relaxing and in a convenient location to the wineries. Arnya the host was very helpful but also allowed us as much privacy as we wanted.
