We had such a wonderful stay! The property was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect – close to everything we needed but still peaceful and relaxing. Robbie was fantastic, very responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The little touches, like made it feel extra special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

A Dream Stay

Robbie and Errol thought of everything you might need when you stay away from home. This Holiday House is the best of any other we stayed in. It's like a 5 start hotel really. We've stayed at Mudgee Market Place twice, and we will be coming back again.

Great House and location.

Friendly and welcoming owners , accommodation was comfortable and clean and the location very close to all amenities. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful place

Christmas in Mudgee

Fantastic inclusions, those little touches that made our stay more pleasant. Location was very convenient, pubs on many corners. Errol was very helpful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas in Mudgee.

Robbie and Errol have been Proprietors of the Fabulous heritage listed Forgandenny House B&B Mudgee since the year 2000, and added "A Market Place Mudgee" in the year 2009, to provide the self-contained or partly hosted accommodation option to their Bed & Breakfast business.
"A Market Place Mudgee" is seamlessly connected to the adjoining property of Forgandenny House B&B, and together make up the grounds of the Forgandenny Estate.
Together with our two properties, we can now host up to 6 couples, within our two award winning guest homes, when the need for celebrating that special time of your life arises, and you need your family and friends to be cared for in that special way.
We can do that for you ....Every day of the year!

A Market Place Mudgee is a home where the Fun starts and memories are made. Perfectly suited for 3 couples to comfortably catch up on life, where restaurants, shops, churches, pool, parks and river, are all an easy stroll away.

Perfect for school holidays, where the kids can pitch a tent in the back yard, and discover the history of the oldest town West of the Blue Mountains. Get out, go gold panning, see the country, and visit the historic towns of Hill End, Rylstone, Hargraves and Gulgong.
For the adults, well there are over 40 winery Cellar doors that will welcome you, and help you understand the wine appreciation experience, and the history of wine making in Mudgee since the 1850's.

You can enjoy a game of tennis on our court at Forgandenny House as part of your experience, or take a swim in the 50M Olympic pool just across the street during the summer months. Take a walk through the beautiful Lt William Lawson Park, along the flowing Cudgegong river, and admire the old River Gum trees that line your route. Amazing at sunrise, and Stunning at dusk.
