Lily Cottage, Port Hughes

Lily Cottage is a recently renovated beach house one street back from the beach (60 metres from front gate to the sand !).

3 bedrooms, comfortable living area and fully equipped, brand new kitchen make it easy for you to just unpack and unwind.

A fully fenced, shady backyard with Hills swing set is perfect for the kids/dogs to play in and just a few minutes walk away are two beaches, a boat ramp and great children's playground.

Try your hand at catching garfish from the jetty or take a walk along one of the beautiful beaches.

If the weather doesn't suit outdoor activities then a flat screen TV in living area and second TV and DVD player in bedroom (with DVD's supplied) mean that you don't have to fight with the kids over what to watch. Board games and books are also provided to help you relax and unwind.

You can self cater, using the gas bbq or the kitchen or give yourself a break and head down to the tavern - just 500 metres away from your front door - for a meal or a drink.

Special consideration has been given to families travelling with young children. The property is "child-proofed" and a full toy chest, wading pool, large selection of family DVDs should provide all the entertainment the kids need so that their parents can relax and enjoy their holiday too. Baby bath, high chair, walker and children's table and chairs are also available.

We also provide quilts, blankets, pillows, a bath mat, hand and tea towels. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels.

PLEASE NOTE : please observe the fence height (1m) on the website photographs. The front of the cottage clearly shows the fencing at it's lowest point. If this is too low for your dogs or children then please be advised that your booking is at your own risk in this regard.

Port Hughes is an easy 2 hour drive from Adelaide, via Port Wakefield, and offers excellent fishing facilities and two safe swimming beaches in a relaxed yet well serviced environment.

Just 5 kilometres away is the heritage town of Moonta, with supermarket, cafes, taverns and other shops lining the main street. Also within the copper triangle's 20 km radius are Kadina and Wallaroo - both have additional shopping facilities and tourist attractions.

Port Hughes is an ideal place to get away for a weekend or longer to freshen up and relax and enjoy time with family or friends.
