Our review - Oasis 6

The property was OK but furniture / lounges were not comfortable and not clean, no rug in the living room, bed blankets were not clean and did not smell nice. Having the golf buggy was great and easy to use, location was OK but a bit too far from the beach.

Oasis 6 review

Lacking comfort. No heating, no floor coverings, no coffee machine and limited kitchen supplies. Overall the weather was cold at night and we all froze walking around with sox on. We were only provided with towels for 2 people when the apartment sleeps 6 and were charged a call out fee when we asked for towels for 4 people. I have stayed in another Oasis apartment which was much more comfortable.

Home away from home!

Great location & super easy to get around with the buggy included. That was a bonus! All needs catered for in the apartment with a well catered kitchen, comfy beds, practical living spaces & outdoor area plus good ac to cover the whole apartment. Wi-Fi, however should be a standard for any accommodation in the 21st century. As should more than one additional roll of toilet paper for a 10 day stay. It would have also been helpful to have information regarding the requirements for bringing washing powder for the washing machine (IGA is expensive and the powders are all standard size). Further to Wi-Fi, an updated sound system & access to Netflix or similar should be a given for this type of accommodation. A DVD player & X-box with only a handful of movies & games really doesn't cater for an entire family. There was also no information regarding the DVD store near the Resort Centre which we stumbled across on our second last day. This would have been great for those rainy day! Overall, our stay was really enjoyable; we loved the apartment. A few tweaks and it would have been absolutely perfect! Thank you!

A wonderful property!

We had a wonderful 8 night stay! The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable while staying on the island. We needed the gas bottle replaced but was a simple call and management had a new one sent over. Couldn’t fault the service or quality of apartment it was all perfect!

Family holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was very easy. We had a charging issue with our buggy and after we contacted the property manager they attended in less than 45 mins on Christmas Eve. They had also booked us a standby buggy if the problem couldn’t be sorted. Excellent service that ensured the remainder of our stay was hassle free. Would definitely recommend this property for a family of 5 - a very relaxing and enjoyable trip.

The photos show a beautiful unit, the roof has holes in it and dodgy patch work. The batteries in the advertised buggy are no good and we had to push the buggy twice. There are huge cleaning fees, but they dont provide a vacuum cleaner so no matter how much you sweep and mop, I cant get rid of the sand, this accommodation was well below expectations as we stayed in oasis 27 on our last holiday, the range hood falls off and the dishwasher doesn't work properly,

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay at Oasis 6, everything was clean and tidy. Our buggy was great and very handy. The only comment I would add is the lack of soundproofing - we could hear a lot of noise from neighbours (above and next door).

Such a relaxing place!

We could not have had a better holiday, we absolutely adore Hamilton island. We feel so fortunate to be able to stay in the Oasis 6, its an beautiful apartment and has a convenient location (marine side). The the use of the golf buggy was fantastic and the shuttle bus stop is only a short walk away. It was great being pick up by the friendly valet service, who was very informative, giving us tips on things we could see and do. We didn't have a worry in the world. Our only complaint is that we had to go home :(
